Is Prostitution Legal in your Nation? Having sex for money? Yes.
If it is, is it regulated in any way? Yes, just like other service industries. Also, you aren't likely to get much business if you aren't certified by one of the professional associations.
If it is not legal, what does your nation do to the citizens that commit the crime? N/A.
What is the government's stance on the issue? It is considered just another service industry, like a hairdresser, massage therapist, or lawyer.
What are your citizens thoughts on the issue? It is considered just another service industry, like a hairdresser, massage therapist, or lawyer.
Are there any major groups (Religions, Businesses, Political Parties, ect) that support it? Obviously the professional associations.
Are there any major groups (Religions, Businesses, Political Parties, ect) that do not support it? There are no major groups that are opposed to it.
Is it important to the economy in anyway? In a minor way. It's not very lucrative, but you can make a living.
Anything Else? Typically, sex professionals make most of their income from couples who want to learn something new.

If it is, is it regulated in any way? N/A
If it is not legal, what does your nation do to the citizens that commit the crime? People who pay for sex only once or a few times normally get community service as do some prostitutes but pimps get tougher sentences. Trafficked prostitutes are not punished
What is the government's stance on the issue? It is avowedly anti-prostitution
What are your citizens thoughts on the issue? 76% of Israelis are anti it
Are there any major groups (Religions, Businesses, Political Parties, ect) that support it? Alliance '13, the Libertarian Party of Israel and the Democratic Left Union support prostitution
Are there any major groups (Religions, Businesses, Political Parties, ect) that do not support it? Alignment, Israel Democrat Union, Progressive Alliance, Jewish Peoples' Union, Shas, Communist Party of Israel and various smaller parties are opposed to prositution
Is it important to the economy in anyway? No

Is Prostitution Legal in your Nation?
Yes
If it is, is it regulated in any way?
Very little, although it seems to be carried out in more inconspicuous places due to social pressure.
What is the government's stance on the issue?
They benefit from it, despite their own objections to treating women like objects.
What are your citizens thoughts on the issue?
Mixed; some benefit from it, while others are worried about the safety of both the citizens and the prostitutes alike in terms of adherence to national ideology/morality and health.
Are there any major groups (Religions, Businesses, Political Parties, ect) that support it?
We have yet to find out so far.
Are there any major groups (Religions, Businesses, Political Parties, ect) that do not support it?
We have yet to find out so far.
Is it important to the economy in anyway?
Possibly, but it mostly benefits the prostitutes, some who do are independent and carry this out themselves.
Anything Else?
No
Experimental nation for a considered personal project here!

Please excuse the crap I put out on this thread; like this nation, I am also a work-in-progress.

Is Prostitution Legal in your Nation?
Yes.
If it is, is it regulated in any way?
Only corporations and businesses with the right permits can do it, and it must be done indoors.
Prostitutes are also required to have a license.
If it is not legal, what does your nation do to the citizens that commit the crime?
Unlicensed prostitution businesses and any prostitutes working there have their valuables seized and are then forced to do up to four years of state-sanctioned labor.
Second strikes are met with a doubled sentence.
What is the government's stance on the issue?
In favor of it.
What are your citizens thoughts on the issue?
Sex workers are looked down upon as lazy and uneducated, typically. There are few moral qualms over the act itself.
Are there any major groups (Religions, Businesses, Political Parties, ect) that support it?
None.
Are there any major groups (Religions, Businesses, Political Parties, ect) that do not support it?
The Nilian Ascetic Brotherhood finds it amoral.
Is it important to the economy in anyway?
Not very.
Anything Else?
It is often franchised.

Is Prostitution Legal in your Nation? Yes.
If it is, is it regulated in any way? Must be kept within licenced brothels.
If it is not legal, what does your nation do to the citizens that commit the crime? N/A.
What is the government's stance on the issue? Largely indifferent.
What are your citizens thoughts on the issue? Frowned upon.
Are there any major groups (Religions, Businesses, Political Parties, ect) that support it? Not really, no.
Are there any major groups (Religions, Businesses, Political Parties, ect) that do not support it? The church does not, but does little to stop it.
Is it important to the economy in anyway? It provides a good enough amount to keep it legal.
Anything Else? It is not really that controversial. However, in the past, human trafficking was a huge problem with as many as fifty women being smuggled into the country. In recent years, however it has become increasingly rare.

To put it in simple terms, prostitution as the ponies and whatnot know it do not exist as arranged marriages are very common and are usually the reward for exceptional prowess in battle. For a young female to take up such a profession is unheard of and would undoubtedly be shamed by her peers, as would any males who would be involved with her.

Is Prostitution Legal in your Nation? No.
If it is, is it regulated in any way? N/A
If it is not legal, what does your nation do to the citizens that commit the crime? They are taken into hospitals. There, they receive contraceptives to prevent possible births. After sorting everything out (usually over 1 month), the former (ahem) is discharged, given a $2.000 monthly welfare stipend, checked on by a social worker, and told to get a legitimate job.
What is the government's stance on the issue? It flies in the face of feminism. As such, it needs to be banned.
What are your citizens thoughts on the issue? Meh. We respect the government, and feminism is very important, too. MAYBE it should be banned. Or MAYBE NOT.
Are there any major groups (Religions, Businesses, Political Parties, ect) that support it?
Mainly 'gentleman's clubs' that want to expand and drunkards
Are there any major groups (Religions, Businesses, Political Parties, ect) that do not support it?
Just about everyone else, including the Islamic Church
Is it important to the economy in anyway?
Estimates point to it bringing in less than $1 million per year.
Anything Else?
Prostitution is VERY rare. Since it's against the law, no one does it. Only about 20 are caught every year, while only an estimated 25 operate every year.

If it is, is it regulated in any way? N/A
If it is not legal, what does your nation do to the citizens that commit the crime? Running a brothel: expect 20 years to life, especially if you are exploiting your "products". Hiring prostitutes: A hefty fine and up to 5 years of prison depending on exploitation and whatnot.
What is the government's stance on the issue? It's a big no-no
What are your citizens thoughts on the issue? Seeing as approximately 95% Catholic and the other 5% mainly being Lutheran, it's a big no-no

Are there any major groups (Religions, Businesses, Political Parties, ect) that do not support it? All religious organizations oppose. Not all businesses have a public opinion, but those that do are generally non-supportive. There aren't any major political parties that support it.

Is Prostitution Legal in your Nation? Yes, though it isn't culturally the same as it is in many other cultures. Our "prostitutes" are closer to what you might call "sex therapists", or just "therapists". Some are involved in art and public ritual.
If it is, is it regulated in any way? Not by the government. What you call prostitutes normally spend several years studying psychology, and are judged by their institute of learning that gives them their degree.
What is the government's stance on the issue? The government takes the stance that this is a private, not a public, matter.
What are your citizens thoughts on the issue? They are generally accepting.
Are there any major groups (Religions, Businesses, Political Parties, ect) that support it? Yes, virtually all of them.
Is it important to the economy in anyway? Not especially.

If it is, is it regulated in any way? Yes, to ensure the safety of prostitutes.
If it is not legal, what does your nation do to the citizens that commit the crime? N/a.
What is the government's stance on the issue? That it will be practiced anyway, so we should try to ensure the safety of everyone involved.
What are your citizens thoughts on the issue? It is generally agreed that as long as it's regulated, it's safer than if it wasn't legal.
Are there any major groups (Religions, Businesses, Political Parties, ect) that support it? It is not something that is discussed with (usually foreign) businesses.
Are there any major groups (Religions, Businesses, Political Parties, ect) that do not support it? A few religions and businesses don't support it, but they don't have much influence in our politics.
