If one or more military security firms do not fullfill their contract they are probably to be sued for breach of contract, it is simple as that.
And even if an invation would succeed I got from good sources that virtually every corporation in Peppersmak has some level of insurance
against hostile military takeover. And in such a scenario I am certain that the insurance companies involved will take action to limit their loss. And you do not mess with the insurance industry!

Because that's quite literally a third of your population, and the last time I checked, whether you had the greatest economy at all, you'd still end up having AK-47 wielding soldiers. Take Iraq, for example.

They are also a third of your population. Also if 1/3rd of your population is in the military than how can you afford to give them anything besides sticks and stones? Body armour can easily cost thousands of dollars, a high end assault rifle can cost over $1,000, bullets cost money,training, food, housing, and actual payment all cost money. Also your nation could not survive with 1/3rd of its population in the military, you would have virtually no economy to sustain your military.

Unfortunately for you, our soldiers are trained to think of the enemy as worthless subhuman animals. That's how we keep morale up: soldiers are conditioned to relish in the slaughter of the enemy's people. Sometimes, after capturing a city, they will go and burn homes and blow up public buildings for fun. It demoralizes the enemy and keeps our guys entertained.

The Navy is mostly delegated to costal defence. It maintains a small force of attack subs and frigates that patrol Halzak's waters.

The Air Force consists of multiple heliborne squadrons that provide the army close support and air mobil capabilities. There also several fixed wing squadrons that are dedicated to mainting air supremacy over the small nation.

Militia

The Militia is an infantry based force that is utilized to defend static positions. Often spread across villages, towns, and cities, the size of their forces in areas often vary in size from a few squads to full infantry regiments. Their heavist armament consists of squad automatic machine guns, ATGMs, and shoulder AA weapons (such as the stinger).
