Welcome to the Infantry in your Nation thread! A continuation of the Main Military Weapons thread series.

Unlike the previous series, this thread Is for the discussion of of your nations military's small arms, body armor, uniform, communications gear, and other general equipment. All tech levels are welcome, but please understand that this thread tends to be geared towards modern and post modern tech, so designs operating on unobtainium or other FT wankery are bound to be criticized from a realistic perspective. If having your designs evaluated for a realistic perspective does not appeal to you, it is advisable you do not post here. There is nothing wrong with past-tech, fantasy tech, or any other non-modern technology based nation posting a design, and you are welcome to post here, but be prepared for the inevitable "That won't work because..." post. These are not meant to offend you, they are meant to teach you. If you do not requirement enlightenment, simply leave it alone.

If you do post a design here, you agree that it will be criticized by the denizens of this thread. You are under no obligation to change the design based on this criticism, but continuing to argue in the face of facts will not bode well for you. Further, if you do not know, ask. If someone asks and you do not know the answer, don't respond. Speak on subjects you know, don't attempt to bullshit. Finally, there are plenty of people in this thread, both new and old, who have knowledge regarding a vast array of military technologies, try to learn from them Dispute if you will, but be prepared to use facts to back up your claims.

"Because it's magic" "I'm FT lawl" and "because I say so" are not valid arguments. Posters, if a player makes aid argument, drop it. These and other non-answers demonstrate that the poster has no desire to learn, therefore, you can not teach.

please avoid excessive posting of vehicles, regardless of their affect on infantry deployment, this is n infantry thread first and foremost, we have vehicle and aircraft threads for those.

The main military firearm of Transnapastain is the M-12 MCR, which, in reality, is a not-so-modified XM-8, firing 6.8 SPC.....because I'm not really playing with Trans anymore...this is kinda pointless.

This armour is lined with a padding inside to provide extra comfort, and wool if necessary in winter.

Its totally cool if a nation uses magic or other fantasy devices, and thats what makes their gadgets go. The problem comes in when a poster who wants to use "fantasy" and "magic" to be better than everyone else comes in, post their things, and begins trying shout down logic by say "nuuuuu, it works because majiks, no shut up and surrender!"

Resistance, Chimera, they can be infected with the Chimeran Virus, or Spinners, or Cocoons, they can be infected a lot of ways, this uniform is to make sure it doesn't happen. U.S army rangers in York, in 1951 got infected due to Crawlers entering their nose, mouth, eyes, etc.

I can finally say I've been to MIT XD.

Main weapon is the MK3 Battle Rifle, Main Infantry unit are Power armored Soldiers Usually Dragons and Bear's with Humans following up in supporting positions

Sedik Infantry during military training earlier this year.

The Sedik military currently uses the FN F2000 as our main military rifle. This along with the KelTec RFB and the SIG Sauer P226 are all our new standard issue weapons after 2007 when they replaced the G36, M14, and Glock 21. The former standard issue weapons have all been sent to surplus and or reserves. The SKS was revised and issued as the SKS EBS during our nations involvement in the Soviet Civil War.
