On the Decree and Supreme Command of His Serene Imperial Majesty, Lucien Kiivenreisse, through the Mandate of Heaven and the Arrow of Fawkes, of Afaenvia and its vassals, Emperor; as well as the direction of the Imperial Office of Foreign Affairs under the guidance of the High Chancellor Park Dong-Wook, the Peoples of the Serene Empire of Afaenvia do hereby proclaim this diplomatic endeavour in the efforts of extending the arms of friendship and forging of international relations with the world.

Background Information of The Serene Empire of Afaenvia

The Serene Empire of Afaenvia is a colossal, cultured nation, ruled by HSIM Emperor Lucien Reynard Kane von Kīīvenreisse with an even hand, and remarkable for its beautiful landscapes and beautiful weather. Its compassionate, cheerful, devout population of 5.535 billion Afaenvians are fiercely patriotic and enjoy great social equality.

The relatively small government is primarily concerned with Education, although Healthcare, Environment, and Public Transport are also considered important, while Defense and Spirituality aren't funded at all. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Crystalcrest. The average income tax rate is 4.9%, but much higher for the wealthy.

The powerhouse Afaenvian economy, worth 629 trillion Reiçkrowns a year, is quite specialized and led by the Tourism industry, with significant contributions from Information Technology and Book Publishing. State-owned companies are common. Average income is an impressive 113,770 Reiçkrowns, and distributed extremely evenly, with little difference between the richest and poorest citizens.

1. All nations must answer each question of the application, custom applications that give all relevant information will be accepted. Anything you wish to mention that is not stated on the application or does not come under 'special requests' may be put at the bottom under 'further information'.
2. Nations may not apply if they are currently at war with any nation that already has a diplomatic mission in Afaenvia due to security reasons.
3. Colonies, Protectorates & Dependencies. They can apply for a separate embassy slot from their host nation as long as they have a degree of autonomy (e.g. self-governance)
4. While diplomatic immunity applies, all embassy staff are encouraged to observe Afaenvian Civil Law. Therefore, objects or actions that are legal in your nation but illegal in Afaenvia may be subject to prosecution within the boundaries of international diplomatic protocol.
5. Security forces for embassies may not be above 20 unless you present a valid reason for this being insufficient in the 'special requests' section of the application.
6. Armour piercing weapons, sniper rifles and heavy machine guns are not allowed for security staff (ceremonial swords and smgs are allowed but pistols are recommended)

General information

Location
Embassies are located in the national capital city of Crystalcrest and are located near Rykwood International Airport (RIA) and within distance of the Central Business District. RIA owns hangers at the airport which we are willing to rent out for use of private jets and helicopters. These embassies are located near in an area on the outskirts of the city, called the "Plaza de Internationale", where a more suburban feel could be found due to the forested surroundings despite the heavy foot traffic in the area.

Embassies
As the embassy program is fairly new, all embassies have only been constructed in the last year so you may expect good quality facilities, working telecommunications and fibre-optic internet broadband pre-installed.

Facilities:
1. A spacious driveway and garage for the ambassadorial car and security vehicles.
2. Security quarters fitted with changing rooms, up-to-date surveillance and 'panic room' for weapons and diplomatic documents of extreme importance.
3. Fully air-conditioned offices for diplomatic staff and a small living quarters that can be customized for the ambassador and their family (if any).
4. A flag pole on top of the building and on the front lawn of the embassy for national flags.
5. Other facilities can be added via the embassy application's 'special requests' section.
