-President Maximus addressed the nation today regarding the current state of the region:

"We'll be meeting with President Luna in the coming days, and reestablishing our promises to their people. They are our strongest allies next to the Elanorans (Elanore), and Reds (Naiont DT)...We understand there are some that oppose the Fantrum strike on the Athretvarians, but what we see, is a nation protecting itself against a tyrannical government. Let us also consider, other possible threats within the continent. Intelligence has pinpointed a strong possibility a certain nation is looking to expand their borders, and trample over ill prepared nations. I don't want to openly declare anything officially, but there are matters to be discussed with our allies on this Clear and Present Danger."

We have reason to believe The Ruivan Empire is oppressing separatists within their borders. We've been observing the empire for some time now, and their shear size is, in itself, a threat to the world.

Fantrum News Today

~ A cease fire has been declared as negotiations continue in New Canterlot. Rumor has it that President Luna has demanded the disarmament of what is left the of the Athretvarin military and a massive, length of the Western border five hundred miles deep.

~ In other news, The launch of the Space ship Adventurous is slated for this Saturday, the craft is expected to undergo space trials and make a pioneering trip to the moon and back.

After air superiority was achieved more tactical air strikes were carried out targeting high ranking officials while bombing raids on the largest industrial site of Vainakh are put in to action.

On the waves of the Black Sea the two evenly matched fleets clash in a battle for control of the sea but the advantage is to Azaflaza with their more experienced and better trained captains. After 7 long hours of long drawn out battles and brief skirmishes, the Vainakh fleet is being worn down and the better tactics of Azaflaza leave their ships in better condition. A surrender flag is raised from the flag ship barely visible from the smoke of the fires on board. The sailors are taking captive and put into POW camps.

With the sea safe for operations, 250,000 soldiers board their transports and set sail for harbours that the navy is in the process of taking control.

Overall things aren't going well for Vainakh.

Fantrum News Today- Breaking Report!

~ President Luna has just announced that the acts of aggression against Vainakh will not be tolerated, and has warned Azaflaza to desist its attack, or face Fantrum's retribution. The President was quoted saying, "Vainakh is one of Fantrum's oldest allies, when the GBR threatened us, they answered. Now, they are Threatened by Azaflaza, and it is our turn to answer the call!" The President appealed before congress and was granted a three day waiting period to see if Azaflaza calls off the attack. In the mean-time, the Navy prepares itself in the Mediterranean for a response.

President Maximus of Nation M's Official visit to Fantrum

It's evening and the roars and screams of an Emen jetliner siren through the airport. The liner, wore a filthy coat of industrial smoke, and the paint scheme of the nations flag carrier - which was chipped away in several areas. The aircraft had 8 engines and stood out among the others. Once the aircraft had stopped the cabin door slowly opened and a series of military officers of high rank made their way off the aircraft to greet the Fantrums. President Maximus was among the last to disembark and made a solid salute to the members of the Fantrum guard.

Though the state of Nation M's environment had always disgusted Luna, she new that their capacity for manufacturing rivaled even her own country. Indeed they were a powerful economic center that Luna enjoyed a close friendship with, but damnit! Couldn't they clean their Presidential aircraft once and a while? At least they seemed to believe in showers. She motioned, after the handshake, for the President to enter the Limo that had pulled up as the plane did. Luna had instructed her own guard to allow for any of the other guests to ride in the limo to put Maximus at ease.

President Maximus took in a solid breath of air, and enjoyed seeing past an infinite sky, exposing the millions of stars. Emens weren't used to seeing stars at all, the chemically induced pollution made it practically impossible. He gestured back at the aircraft "see, even if we do clean em weekly, flying through our skies doesn't help" he chuckles. He gives President Luna a nice firm, respecting handshake. The military personnel surrounding President Maximus weren't his guards, but rather, associates (generals, colonels, commanders). Their purpose was to share information with the Fantrum government - because after all, why should an honest president need personal guards? Unless of course you have rival nations trying to put your leader down.
President Maximus: We've much to discuss, primarily 2 things in particular, and I think their is mutual interest. See, it's quite clear that any nation wishing to be the center stage of worldwide economics simply requires the nonexistence of outside, and inside threats. A totalitarian government that consumes smaller nations and oppresses their citizens.
