Teaches the officers some respect. Seriously, my army runs on "if it ain't broke don't fix it". I want to inject that little bit of Victorian flare but with a modern take. Hence a pocket watch and not a wrist watch.

So, I've found a super simple and effective caseless design, but it only works with belts. Before I go all Hughes Lockless on it and add some complexity to it, would it be viable to issue 50 round belts of ammunition in sealed containers with some sort of tab on the end of the belt to allow the belt to be quickly inserted and chambered without lifting the top cover?

I make all of my weapons in one of the two "Pimp My Gun" programs. The old version (oldapp) is more simplistic and may be a bit easier to use for amateur PMG-ers, while the newer version (app) offers more customization options, but lacks some weapon categories and may be a bit more difficult for some people to use effectively.

When I dabbled in making my own I did. But then I found that using IRL firearms is a lot easier and I'm a lazy cunt was better than me coming up with my own and getting everything wrong.

But I'm working on a write up for my future soldier style equipment. And my tanks and armoured vehicles, though those don't relate to here.

And I just nag RB to do the line art afterwards.

Does anyone know of a good resource (or can make a summary) that talks about the different types of locking mechanisms and what the pros/cons of each type are? I found a resource that compares rotating bolts to tilting locks, but there are obviously more types than that, and it was on a white supremacists website, so...

I see. But you cannot remove it?

The grip screw's nut is built into the trigger guard section. Unscrew it, and the pistol grip will come off as normal (standard AK grip).
