Random question time. How would you rate a round with 250J of energy?

This one is really random thou. It just came to me out of the blue with no rhyme or reason.

Pocket pistol caliber.

Good to have in a tight spot, but not something to seek trouble with.

In all my years in law enforcement...I have never seen a private investigator (note that in Ohio ALL licensed security guards are PI's if their company chooses to pay the fee) need anything moe than a pistol...and in general, not even that.

Investigation....not really requiring use of force as a rule. Ask detectives how often they use their firearms.

But hey man, whatever you say.

Edit:
Tulmania wrote:Well depending on how you define "need".........

I found define need in this case as "not at all."

It's about half the power of a 9X19.

Never underestimate the versatility of the G3, or the work of a PI.

I call BS.
In the US only Delta Force and Hostage Rescue Squad use them, and around the world only major armies are using the PSG.

LOL you rly need to quit lying.

I know its the internet and all and we people tend to blow themselves up but srsly do you even know a PI? Let alone one who owns a fully automatic G3 battle rifle and a PSG-1 sniper rifle?

Do you know how stupid that sounds? I hope you do, because I do. Well all do.

Riiiiight.

There are "fewer than 400" PSG-1's in the United States....and they are primarily owned by wealthy private collectors. Prices seem to range from 12k - 15k. Add to that that, in fact, very few US police agencies use them.

So you're trying to tell me you make enough money to afford such things?

I'm sorry, this is a first for me. I've never had anyone completely destroy any credibility they might have had in a single post.
