If you're only pulling 5500J with 1070m/s, your round is probably quite light. 10g for a 10mm rifle round is very light and somewhat below some light loads of 7.62x51mm
.338LM has loads from 16-20g, already up to double your mass and 1.4mm slimmer (9.3x64mm Brennecke has similar load weights).
Most cartridges in the 8-11mm bracket have this kind of bullet weight, 16-20g.
