I can't really post my flag in the factbook.

I've tried copying the link (https://imgur.com/a/Wo3T5h2) but it just doesn't work

either way, the ''upload image'' and ''computer'' stuff in imgur. Can't find it, any pro tips?

Sometimes you need to figure out what file extension it is. Did you create the flag as a GIF or a JPG? If you uploaded it as one of those, you need to type that at the end of the link that you post into the factbook page.

It looks like it was uploaded as webpage, so they’d have to perhaps save image, then reupload as jpg, png, or gif (whatever was preferred).

Thank you! I am absolutely going to spend hours planning out a fictional country instead of doing my biology homework... but small details, right?

Um, Ponderosa? I probably will feel absolutely stupid asking, but my images for the flags don't show up in the box. All I get is the same generic image placeholder image. https://www.nationstates.net/nation=the ... ok/id=main

You need to get the image address. Right click the image and click 'Copy image address', then paste that into the code.
A Modern Tech federal semi-constitutional monarchical country with the borders of real-life Germany. Led by the Kaiser Georg Friedrich and Chancellor Olaf Scholz, the German Empire was preserved after WW1 as the Treaty of Versailles gave Germany its current borders without changing its government.

It's "Copy image link" on my browser, but it works all the same. Thx.

To up the thread: It worked really well! I made my factbook with the code and it looks great.

I really wonder if there are codes for tables as well; many people are doing military overviews as first sub-factbook and if there was a code for that...

May I ask, how did you create your map of Ponderosa in your factbook?

I know this isn't exactly the best place but where would one be able to find a guide for a "low tech"/black box style factbook? Trying to make my own and unfortunately google leads me to this very forum post

Golly gee, I remember using this guide for my old nation of Equalium and New Arcadius. This guide is still relevant and I'm glad you're still here!

/reserved DEFINITION:
To reserve a post as to prevent being ninja’d. This is especially useful for having posts that may take effort or a good portion of time to make, as there is a greater chance of such things being ninja’d than a slash and a word. Only practical in some threads compared to others. The idea is to put /reserved first and edit it once you have a proper answer. As such, you are not ninja’d. BN will do you as long as you eventually edit your /reserved into a proper post.
