I want to use it for a Christian church for my nation.

How do you put Anthems (like on Wikipedia) on this? I would love to know how.

Also if someone could tell me how to insert a picture that would be great.
To insert an image you need to either find the URL to an image online and place it within the [img][/ img] (remove the space after the slash to make it work), or save an image and upload it to a photo sharing website (eg. Tinypic, Photobucket, Imgur), where you can resize the image. The website will give you a link so you can post it in your factbook.

whew I'm late on checking this thread But for whoever's reading, factbooks don't support embedded audio, so you're gonna have to link to a Youtube or SoundCloud or Google Drive track

A little late, but for the tables, is it possible for them to be side-by-side the sidebar, instead of the table being sent down to the bottom of the sidebar?
My Climate table went way too far to the bottom, which I think I can rectify with more words on top.
Awesome!! Maybe someday in the future i will make one for my state

I only just saw this, but hey, thanks, Yohannes!
Much appreciated! I'll implement that when I have the time, and of course, due credit to ya.
EDIT: Due to the long names, I decided to put the sidebar all across the entire thing.

Looks fine to me. Although I noticed your legislature factbook page could use some work. Try this: viewtopic.php?f=23&t=456129

Oh yea, I saw that template of yours. I might use it, but I'm working on different stuff one at a time. As for my table of contents, Ponderosa's seems to be of sensible length, while mine stretches from one end of the screen to the other. Why is that?

Ponderosa used a box, and used the [floatleft] code on the box containing the table of contents. Try that, and if it doesn't work, tg me your entire factbook code and I'll see what I can do.

Call this a bump, so here's mine so far. Best viewed on a Desktop version.
A factbook is only one place to find national information, and it's not always the best place. In these threads, you can put bits of national information in large threads where everyone can find it, or discover new information to place in your own factbook.
Since I am obviously stealing Shazbotdom's idea for a list of great threads, he comes first. Shazbotdom has kept an excellent database for links to factbooks and embassy threads, as well as national leaders, capitals, and currencies. This is truly the king of factbook megathreads.
Want to find a national leader? Don't know where he lives? No problem! Just stop by Northrop-Grumman's famous threads and check them out! Don't forget to post your info, as well!
Afalia may have CTE'd, but his legacy lives on. How do I know Ponderosa is a "middle power"? Afalia said it is! Drop by Smoya's new International Power Classification Organisation, fill out the survey and see where you stack up among the world's great powers. Old thread located here.
Who said sports don't matter? They're an excellent way to fill the culture section of your factbook! Take a look at Kannap's list of national sports and learn what other nations do in their spare time.
Don't understand why your embassy can't be a giant fortress of doom equipped with machine guns, Apache helicopters, and nuclear weapons? Euro tells you everything you need to know about embassies and foreign relations in his comprehensive guide on embassies! The best part? You don't even need to click the link! It's right here! Just scroll down!

One question, how do people get/make maps like a couple seen on factbooks? Do they just find a template, boot up Photoshop or GIMP and make their own map? Same question goes for flags although I assume you would use GIMP or Photoshop for that.

I did use photoshop for my flag, yes. You could do the same for a map.
