To insert an image you need to either find the URL to an image online and place it within the [img][/ img] (remove the space after the slash to make it work), or save an image and upload it to a photo sharing website (eg. Tinypic, Photobucket, Imgur), where you can resize the image. The website will give you a link so you can post it in your factbook.

But for whoever's reading, factbooks don't support embedded audio, so you're gonna have to link to a Youtube or SoundCloud or Google Drive track

For example:

A little late, but for the tables, is it possible for them to be side-by-side the sidebar, instead of the table being sent down to the bottom of the sidebar?

My Climate table went way too far to the bottom, which I think I can rectify with more words on top.

The key is to avoid placing ~~a [space]~~ an [enter] before every [tr]

Oh yea, I saw that template of yours. I might use it, but I'm working on different stuff one at a time. As for my table of contents, Ponderosa's seems to be of sensible length, while mine stretches from one end of the screen to the other. Why is that?

Ponderosa used a box, and used the [floatleft] code on the box containing the table of contents. Try that, and if it doesn't work, tg me your entire factbook code and I'll see what I can do.

Due to the nature of my long names, I ditched the idea of a sidebar and instead made the whole thing centered by itself.

Excel and image-hosting websites used to a large degree.

One question, how do people get/make maps like a couple seen on factbooks? Do they just find a template, boot up Photoshop or GIMP and make their own map? Same question goes for flags although I assume you would use GIMP or Photoshop for that.

I did use photoshop for my flag, yes. You could do the same for a map.
