OOC: Ok, so the old thread for this has been inactive for a couple weeks and it wouldn't be useful to necro so I just decided to create my own.
I don't have a wikipedia styled factbook yet because I couldn't ask for the code in an old thread. D:

At the moment zeganas does not have a wikipedia, does anyone else?

No, The Serbian Empire's factbook is more about sporting rosters and is in a default style.

Wow! That is one attractive factbook!

Can anyone tell me the code(s) to make it this format?

Thanks.

It would actually be preferable to reuse the old thread to starting a new thread.

Topical discussion and posting in an older F&NI thread is fine, so long as there isn't an identical topic already active. IC/RP forums are subject to much different evaluations when considering grave digging than general.

Both Trans and my puppet, Costa Mejis use IIwiki for factbook, though the on forum factbook for Trans remains.

ICly, there is a wikipeida style service available on the Directorate intranet, but its content is controlled by the government. Access to outside networks is uncommon, but not impossible. Generally, corporations (for the ease of doing business) and universities (for the ease of information sharing) are granted access to the larger worlds internet connections.

The information contacted on the yet to be named Transnapastaini Wikipedia rip-off does not, usually, differ from that which would be found on a standard wiki article, though any information critical of the Transnapastaini government would, of course, he purged.

Or post it using the [code] tag? That would be awesome.

Here's mine: http://www.nationstates.net/nation=pond ... k/id=97589

If anyone wants the source let me know.

I do have a wikipedia style factbook..as I stated before.

..It's rather fresh (updated), as I even made links to click on if you want more info on the flag, coat of arms, monarchy seal, national anthem and more stuff. Kinda like how it is for real national countries. Like if you go on Frances wiki page, you can click on the flag link and see more info on it.

Ponderosa, nice flag btw.

Too lazy for one. I just recently started adding things to the Factbook section.

A start of one, really. Only one page and rather minimal so far.

For a table of contents, use [anchor] tags. Like so:

Table of Contents

History

Economy

Government

History
Examplestan was founded in 1950 and has never done anything notable.

Economy
Examplestan's economy is run entirely on the sale of third-born children.

Government
The government is an unelected bureaucracy, run by lizard people who are here to take your guns.

Yes but my in-game factbook is massively out of date.

You're much better off with my IIwiki page, and in fact there are several pages and articles, dedicated to almost all things Radiatian.

I do have an in-game factbook that has an infobar, but I've been lazy on working with that. Largely in favour of working with my IIwiki one.

I don't give out my code. I did it once, and the person stole the whole thing completely. If you look at my infobox on the right, its items are unique. I don't submit to the standard items. I refer to "demonym" as "gentilic" and so on. The layout of the entire overview dispatch is fundamentally different to the one proposed by the OP here. So, at a later date, I checked on the person's factbook, and I see his is exactly the same as mine but with information pertaining to his nation and not that much information overall. I had him remove it.

So, since someone did that, I don't give it out. I could help with any specific issue you have, that you can develop your layout independently, but I don't do it for you.
