Recent major fires in your nation

Postby Vandelstein » Sat Aug 03, 2013 7:29 am

In Valdestein, the most recent major fire occurred during December 24, 2012 when a crime involving the explosion of the gas lines in Terrence Court set it ablaze. The lines were ignited by a foreign arsonist who "who liked seeing big buildings burn." Terrence Court, housing the offices of major global airlines, was gutted and destroyed. The building was demolished in January 2013 and is now the site of the twin towers of Embassy Court, slated to open mid-August.

The arsonist is currently receiving mental health treatment under armed guard.

While the western, more arid region of La Sieste expirenceses occasional wildfires, the rest of the country does not. It therefore came as a shock when a timber farm near L'albatros (a Central Mountain town) began to burn. The flames spread, burning for a week. Over one hunder homes were destroyed, along with several thousand acres of timber. 8 people perished
