Zalafi Islam is a branch of Islam mainly Practiced in the nation of Efsanevi. It was in 1357 when this sect of Islam was founded by Saemul Zalaf the third king of the Emirt of Efsanevi. It was what Zalaf saw as the true inturpitation of the Q'raun and is now a fairly liberal version of Islam. In 1378 Zalaf became a martyr after him he willing accepted exicution rather then divulge the location of the Efsanevi army to a group of invaders. Now Zalaf is a folk and national hero and has his own holiday (Ancestry Day) celebrated every January.

It defers from tradition Islam for it slight change in gender roles. Well still relatively the same from the traditional veriations of Islam women are given a higher degree of freedom and are encouraged to be Indapendent and the Hijab is optional although until recently they were still worn out of respect for tradition. Men are also expected to be more respectful to women. Women are still subject to the male house leader but in return for her loyalty he must be protective of her and keep her daft from harm.

Also the idea of other religions is that we known they have chosen the wrong path in life but it is not are role to place judgment as that is gods duty. We may only give them the means to expose themself to the word of Allah and leave them to their own tools. But this also doesn't mean that we must scorn or reject people of other faiths and instead we should allow them to mingle with us and to let them believe in their faith.

Sinners like murders and homosexuals are treated similer to false faiths. While murders a d rapest are to be imprisoned for their crimes homosexual should be left to roll around in the filth of their own sin. Basicly it's a nation wide don't ask don't tell kind of thing. Particularly evil men like child molesters shall find themselves unable to vomite such crimes again.

So while Zalafi Islam is liberal in relation to Islam itself it's still fairly conservative regardless. The sect teaches acceptance of diferance and although we don't like it we must understand that living in coexistence is the way we must live due to a world of different cultures and values.

However, in general, Zafali is generally used in Elista (19%), Frontiersville (43%), and Papen (12%), while Zalafi is used in Alatyr (83%), Anastasia (7%), and Shali (2%). Thus, plus 49,169 people outside those areas, bumps it up to 4,916,313 persons, or 1.2% of the population. Only 0.8% of the population are of other Muslim sects.
