If they're human, they're usually of incredibly mixed ethnicity, with some people being able to list more than ten different ancestors' nationalities by memory; general skin tone and hair color, though, is darkish, with skin usually somewhere between light caramel and coffee and hair being reddish brown or black, although you'll of course see the occasional pasty-skinned, blonde-haired white person. Eye color can again range from pale blue to dark brown and anything in between. Fashion-wise, typical hairstyles and clothing are either extravagant and eccentric or comfortable and utilitarian; there is no in-between.

If they're attenn, though, appearance is more uniform. Carapaces are usually pale and kept clear of blemishes, and are somewhat iridescent in the sunlight; enough blood shows through to tint the entire individual a faint rust-orange, though the shade of this color depends on the individual. Sun-ridges are stark black and white, found of course on the head, neck and lower back, and can be tilted to absorb or reflect sunlight accordingly. Primary eyespots are usually sea green and secondary red, though these colors also vary; beaks and nails are darker than the rest of the carapace, and often fashionably chipped or painted. Ears are wide and directable, colored white on their inner surface and black on their outer. Clothing among attenns is as variable as it is among humans, but especially common are ridiculous, often richly decorated hats.

Perhaps the most inhuman feature of Sidhae is the unnatural shine of their eyes, prominently observable in the dark. This is due to a layer of reflective cells in their retinas that help Sidhae to see in the dark, similar to that found in dogs and cats.

Other than that, the average Sidh is generally no different from a human in appearance, some more heavily-augmented specimens exhibiting extensive cyber-augmentation.

We can cross-dress, and prefer rugged-looking or simple clothing, such as simple tops and jeans. Three quarter length jeans are quite trendy as of now.

Kangaroos with feathers. Sort of. Humans say we tend to be a little goofy-looking by their standards, like creatures from a Doctor Seuss storybook. We're about 5-6 feet tall, with long, powerful legs and a balancing tail, and hop about like Earth kangaroos. Unlike Earth kangaroos though, our bodies are covered with a fine down rather than hair. Also, we have a long mane of feathers that starts from a flexible crest on the tops of our head, runs down our backs and over the top of our tail, and ends in a tuft.

Jankenjin are divided into three genders, each of which is quite distinct in appearance from the others:

• Guujin are medium height with a bulky, muscular build. Their complexion is reddish, and their feathers red.
• Chokijin are tall and slender. Their complexion is dark, almost black, and their feathers are dark blue.
• Paajin are small and rather juvenile looking. Their complexion is pale yellow, and their feathers blonde.
