And since i have finally returned from a nice holiday can I try to post again. Just one new soldier though.

With Scandera adopting a feudal society so did the first kind of uniforms appear as did light kinds of plate armour. Gorgets and shoulderpads appeared in battle as did coloured clothes outside of their hauberks also did men start to paint their armour to make them stand out a bit more.
Another weapon also made a return as the sword became used amongst the warhammers to give the huskarls the ability to cut apart enemy spears so the front ranks were often mixed between swordmen and macemen with the rear ranks consisting almost entirely by spearmen.

I don't know how you'd do it, but is there any way you could texture that chainmail to give it a more distinctive appearance from the plate? This is already awesome (particularly amused by the strategic fig leaf on the bronze age warrior), but that would make it even better.

Horned helmets are a really bad idea, just pointing that out.
