St. Martin Stage, St. Martin
9:00 PM
The war was now over. President John Cox sat in his booth waiting for the play, along with his wife, Carlin Cox. The play "Perso" was written by the Desperauexite playwrite Bonahrd Follard. It is about the young Drako Perso fighting against an oppresive government and bringing freedom to his land, with the help of the gods of Greece. The play was acclaimed by a global audience, being shown everywhere in the 70s. Now, it was reserved for the more noble and esteemed members of Desperauexite society. At Follard Memorial Theater however, Cox would meet his end. At around 9:30, Jack Robles, a politician from A'li Salient, wanted revenge for his people's suffering during the civil war. Robles stepped into the theater, his plan to kill him must wait. His plan was to kill the president, and escape by boat to the Salient state so he will leave in peace. It is now 9:25. It was time. He stepped up the stairs into the box, infront of the stage. He cocked his revolver. He stepped into the box. He aimed the revolver. "Well sir, I am sorry to say, that you must now die for your horrid attacks against the sovereign state of Salient." He then pulls the trigger, blowing a bullet into President Cox's head. He then ran out into the street, where he got his horse and went down Stage Road. Carlin screamed as some soldiers took the president to the stage and doctors attemped to heal him. The theater was cut off from the public. Carlin was questioned about the killer, and identified him as Rolfe, as she had met him before. The president lies in coma, as he is then carried down the street to an office, and is laid on the couch. Rolfe manages to make it to River Street before he meets opposition...
