We hav never invaded anyone, in fact our only war to date is our War of Independence from the former nation of Romanov Island. When that nation collapsed a few year later, we did take over most of their industrial capacity, their ports and shipyards, and their telecommunications facilities.
In fact although most of the inhabitants left and we were happy to see them go, we had to offer incentives for the trained engineers and technicians to stay on, as their technology was much better than ours and few of us knew how to run it.

After all everyone knows that the only reason for going to war a sane nation can have is either to take something from someone else or to prevent someone from taking stuff from us. We usually take Technologies, Resources, and depending on the situation, Livestock or Territory. After that, we restore the nation, to help them regain themselves.

If we capture enemy territory, we usually destroy all signs of enemy government, annex it, reward loyal citizens with government jobs, move in the military, take all art and precious objects to our capital, and tag all dissenters. If dissenters become outspoken, they are imprisoned. If they become violent, they are exiled. If they attempt to foment revolution, they are killed.
