DalmaƧie does not use the death penalty, which was outlawed in 1980. Public opinion at the time supported it, albeit only at 55%. Today, 90% would not want to see the death penalty re-used.

If it was a minor capital offense, we would do something quick and painless like lethal injection. If it is a very big and major capital offense we will use something more horrific and humiliating like being killed by rabid dogs in a cage or letting the police beat them to death.

(You have to be 13 to receive the death penalty, the youngest person to ever receive it was 15)

Capital punishment is legal and widely used here in the People's Republic. Only a handful of crimes carry this punishment however, in practice, the country's courts order extrajudicial executions for many other crimes as well primarily because of the influence of "party committees" (a sort of jury made up of members from the ruling party).

Crimes that officially carry capital punishment include High Treason (to the ruling party), Arms Trading, Drug Trafficking, Human Trafficking, Mass Murder, among others.

"Do not fear, people of Aezerdom!" said government spokeswoman Kirsten Kirstenallity in a public speech yesterday, "In these great allied states, any form of crime, from simple pick pocketing to terrorist attacks, will not be punished with the death penalty! When delinquents are found guilty of any crime, they shall proceed to be taken to the Great Building of Moral Rehabilitation, where they may once again learn how to be loyal citizens. Just look at Jerome Smittersmatters here: a decade ago, he was using his circus acrobatics skills to be a cat burglar. After he was caught, he spent time in the GBoMR. Eight days ago, Jerome was released from the Great Building, and now he knows what and what not to do to be a loyal citizen. In fact, he's here with us today to show how our rehabilitation program taught him morals."

At press time, Jerome Smittersmatters appeared to lack his five senses and all physical ability. He failed to answer every question directed at him.

In a follow-up poll to this recent speech, 98% of Aezerdom citizens said they felt their rights as human beings was reassured by Kirsten Kirstenallity; the remaining 2% hesitated before giving the same response.

Aezerdome is reassured! Long live the Allied States!

Execution is legal here in Saurisia and generally used as punishment for the most heinous of crimes (serial murder, arson, terrorism, treason, serial rape, etc) like any other sensible, civilized nation.

The death sentence is never used in Kolotos. All criminals are given a second chance at life through the reeducation system. Should they commit an equal or greater crime afterwards, they disappear from public view and are sentenced to life imprisonment, otherwise, they reenter the reeducation system.

Both the Federal Government and every current State Government maintains the right to exercise some form of capital punishment when and where necessary. Crimes which are usually listed as being worthy of death include treason, murder, kidnapping, rape, and in some cases, arson.

The death penalty is used but is reserved for citizens convicted of treason or foreign nationals who are living in our country and convicted of one of the "Enemies of the State" charges. Most other severe crimes (Murder, rape, child molestation etc.) result in being sent to a government work camp. Some people (such as murderers) are kept in the camp for life while others serve 20 years.

Not used except for the crime of High Treason (last sentence was approximately 35 years ago).

It will probably never be used again since the majority of Onerans view it as barbaric and the hallmark of an uncivilised society.

No need for it, because everyone in Norklestein is trustworthy!

Of course, blowing up LaVille with TNT might result in the execution and banishment of the perpetrator...but that scenario is highly unlikely.
