Military record(s) combined (military branch, what your unit is tasked with, etc.)?: Former 1st Army, Unit 256 tasked with 'cleansing communists'.
Your unit must be available/serving 5yrs initially unless granted early discharge. Can this be done? (mandatory requirement upon signing up): Yes, as long as required
Brief description of military unit (not mandatory): Unit 256 was tasked with cleansing rebels and sympathisers along the border between North and South Vera. Most army units were integrated into the Former Holy Geneva Security Forces but specialist units such as Unit 256 were not considered in the restructuring and told to go home, some of these units formed the UKANFUKURSELF bandit group to live off the land and continue their mission. Unit 256 has decided to join the legion as a way of moving on from the life they are forced to live in order to survive.

Brief description of group (if applicable, if not use "N/A"): The Imperial Alliance of Vorkova is a radical group of counter-revolutionaries who oppose the current socialist government and seek the restoration of the absolute monarchy that preceded it. At present, the group is led by Crown Prince Alexander II, the grandson of the last emperor, Vladimir XI. A recent government crackdown on the group is the reason for it's sudden mass exodus from Vorkova to the TECT and other countries, which it hopes would shelter it for the time being.

They were sent in to liberate Eastern Europe. They managed to achieve this mission with a 580:1 S/K record (civilians saved to enemies killed).

Brief description of military unit (not mandatory): This battalion, like all other units in the regular forces of Themiclesia, is composed of the cream of Themioi minds. We face over 20 million applications to the forces each year, and we take less than 0.1% of them. They are sent to a 7-year academy, and graduate with a doctorate; they are trained in many languages, geography, strategy, astronomy, oceanography, navigation, mechanics, and many other arts that a scholar would have; that being said, their basic skills as infantryman is unquestionable. They shoot all types of firearms well, and are even good in archery. They are capable of making many judgments instantaneously, and their loyalty and conscience is as clear as any fine jewel. Concerning your inquiry; all recruits, royalty or not, are treated like any other recruit that enlists in the Commoner Foreign Legion. Because royalty or not, you will face challenges from the field of battle that do not distinguish statuses; enemies will work to harm you Commoner or not, royalty or peasant. That is why your unit will go through the same specialized training their comrades have gone through; which will include tough situations, dirty conditions, and being treated like lower than the dirt you walk on. This is all because all legionnaires go through the same experiences and share the hardships their comrades go through; that is a unique aspect to the Legion, bonding through Hell to come out better men. As per your listed concerns, we assure you that TECT upholds sacred rights of freedom and liberty. We respect all citizens rights who abide by the law and rules. In our country, we believe that government should be small and should not intrude in average citizens lives unless needed or absolutely necessary; we are no nanny state or tyrannical dictatorship. We have freedom of religion that allows everyone to follow their religious beliefs as along as they do not disturb the public peace or safety; public nudity is prohibited under these rules so no need to worry. Military Records:
Formed on the 30th of May 2000 CE, on Confederacy Aleckandor's Founding Day, by retired GALA Para-Grenadiers Colonel Sygmend Klenkho, a wealthy member of the House Of Rainwaters. Consisted mainly of veterans who had fought in the Revolution, the subsequent War Of Unity, and during the PATNA Coup Of '98. One of the first Independent Battle Formations (groups and organizations running mainly on private funds and volunteers to work as irregular forces during military ventures) within the Military Services.
Were one of the first airborne units dropped into the then-bordering (and now occupied and subsequently Confederalized) State Of Yekor during the first of Great Zentral Upheavals in mid-2004. They distinguished themselves at the Skirmish Of Nohknoratu after crushing enemy armored reinforcements without heavy support. After the Yekori Campaign, they went to the Rohovian Militarized Zone, where they again distinguished themselves by participating in the Battle Of The Lesser Tyuiopeic Plain, routing a much larger allied native Rohovian and Lirinese force as a result of fluid combined arms tactics.
During the Eviction War of '07-'08, they have been responsible for acting on intelligence and effectively carrying out premeditated strikes on several targets of the Terracielian Royal Family, cutting off the enemy's monarchic blood and chain-of-command. One notable mission was their confirmed slaying of Princess Orlanda Capulet, shooting down her private helicopter as it attempted to escape from Fort Gladius.

Brief Description Of Group: The Righteous Band is an irregular but effective light airborne infantry unit composed of some of the most cold-hearted, sly, yet skilled and dedicated modern warriors hailing from Aleckandor Proper. The group is adventurous as it is cunning, sometimes resorting to even the most unorthodox methods to ensure that friendly forces stay alive and enemy troops remain dead. Politically reliable and brutally efficient, the 30M Bandits are gun-toting democratic idealists who would only grin and crack smartass remarks when faced with the worst of what vengeful men can do to perceived villains/tyrants. They would easily be recognizable from other Commoner Foreign Legion units by their use of Aleckandorean NDI-57 light infantry helmets plus Lyran ADPC (Advanced Disruptive Pattern Camouflage) schemes on their combat uniforms, as well as their distinct flag & unit patch. The group is also 99.9% Maeflowuhran, a race of humans characterized by their grey skin, grey eyes, black hair, and Caucasian-like physical appearance.

~ RAB30M troops on a walkabout patrol in the then-Empire Of Jecasu, their most recent deployment under the Aleckandorean Confederacy's command.
Concerns/Questions?: As stated before, the RAB30M - sometime in the near future - plans to rejoin the ranks of the Aleckandorean Confederate Military Services (CMS) after a period of duty with the Commoner Foreign Legion. Like in the letter this has been attached to, the target date for the termination of the Band's service contract with the Foreign Legion is the 11th of March 2020 CE.

Brief description of yourself: He is doing this solely for life experience, as he's done various jobs since he was 16 or 17; he is from a large Asto-Indian family (Asto- being prefix for Astholmian) and is multilingual. He knows a bit about Asian Astholm and the current situation there politically, which is requiring your nation's military assistance, he is the expert, to you at least, on it, as he's been there and seen it, knows people caught up in the conflict. Speaks with a Yorkshire accent (West Yorkshire), English mother from Seacroft, Leeds, Indian father from Batley, Kirklees, West Yorkshire.
Also speaks Hindi, and some Tamil, along with a bit of Croat and Bosniak. His preferred trade in the army is driving or cookery, and would rather be doing this than fighting; he is a good chef, and a good long-distance driver too, based on his own life experience, taking elderly relatives in the Asian Astholm continent. He does not want to fight, only do non-combat work but still be in the army.

Uniforms and equipment will be provided by the Imperial Army; so your men will not be able to use their uniforms, standard firearms, or other known weapons without permission. As per your listed concerns, we will address them here. Your inquiry cannot be answered totally because of its nature. Like war, your question is unpredictable; therefore, we can only say that your units may or may not meet in battle with hostile forces -- especially varied are the forces in question you mentioned. We cannot confirm anything but there is always a chance that war could break out and there is a good chance that units from the Legion may be called upon to join the fight. For now however; you all must first pass training and will go to improving the security of the Empire. Formed almost seven years ago secretly by the Slakonian Ministry of Foreign Relations in assisting other nations without official Slakonian support.
First saw action in the Dorchyenko War of Aggression in 2009
Legionican Civil War of '10; on the behalf of the government loyalist forces, thanks to the squadron Fort Cicero was saved from air assault and so the war effort as well.

OOC: I will be once more re-opening this sign-up for character, single and groups, applications. I figured it was time to remove nations who had CTEd and put in new characters who aren't from these gone nations. I will keep one nation's force as im still using them - but a lot of slots are opening up so I want to get the ball moving on getting new meat inside the killing fields.

Mental note to me mostly and to owner(s): New Othman 1st Division (11,000) and Gavinium Magnus 1st Division (1,093) are being returned early OOC. I am making room for new additions as I want to cut numbers more drastically. I don't care if you say you did your full service or they were decommissioned early; they're free for you to use once more as CFL veterans.

Additional note: For groups, I suggest somewhere between 50 to 400 people. For military units I suggest a Battalion up to a Division.

Military record(s) combined (military branch, what your unit is tasked with, etc.)?: "Sea Tigers" used to be an elite naval special unit. Each of their former operators is in top physical shape. All of the men are expected to be at least 1st dan (teal belt) in various Nihonese martial arts, which are famous for being deadly. Besides, the unit used to function as naval special operations force; those men are skilled in amphibious infiltration, naval counter-terrorist operations, naval EOD etc - what you could expect from a naval special forces unit. Most of them seen a lot of action during conflict in Annam and in Potomiak, so they are well versed with military operations.

Your unit must be available/serving 4yrs initially unless granted early discharge. Can this be done? (mandatory requirement upon signing up): Frankly, Nihonese code of honour (Bushido) orders warrior to be loyal to his master to the end, and that is what "Sea Tigers" will probably do. They can go into hardest missions for minimal pay as long as honour is upheld, as long as the Commoner government will not relieve them of their service, even if initial contract is 12 years.

Brief description of military unit (not mandatory): 799th Naval Special Warfare Battalion "Sea Tigers" used to be one of special units of 8th Home Fleet. Formed in 1995, the unit had a considerable combat record with operations in Biao, Potomiak and Annam. They also performed beach reconnaissance operations during Nihonese invasion on Manjuguo and recaptured "Nihon Maru" - a whaling ship kidnapped by overzealous ecologists. Their end however, came in early 2015 with corruption affair within their ranks; their commander and his three cronies were found guilty of corruption and criminal activities. While rest of the unit was successfully found clear, the outrage of local public could not be stopped and the unit was dissolved under pressure. However, one of their former commanders - Commodore Fujikawa Juro, who frankly was also without a job - gotten approval from Nihonese government to enlist his unit into CFL. And from that point, the "Sea Tigers" found new home.

As per your listed concerns, we have decided to exempt your commanding officer, Fujikawa Juro, in order for said person to act as CO. Although he will not be sent into direct combat if it can be helped, we hope his experience and dedication will continue to lead the Red Tigers into battle under a new flag. And when it comes to service terms, there is no rule stating troops cannot reenlist; therefore, as long as soldiers qualify for additional tours, they are more then welcomed to perform additional tours. I hope this answers your concerns and eases your minds as you prepare to become Commoner soldiers as well as Commoner citizens. Thank you again.

OOC:It is a neural chip that pretty much fires electrical impulses that make them need a little less sleep, concentrate a little better, and handle stress more effectively, a sped up metabolism is a side effect of this. It's some Experimental stuff from the government and can be removed with a quick surgery if one so desires. No Wireless brain info network. Too Future-y
