We have three main families.

House of Valhindser
House of Lessard
House of Morvant

Each house, at one time, held power on the blood throne. At the current time the ruler of Vampirum is Count Maximilian Morvant.

Retarika has not had a Royal Family since 1775, when King George XII was levying unfair taxes on the Retarikan people. The King was a dictator who was finally overthrown in the Revolutionary War in 1775. Richard Franklin, the chief revolutionary, was made the first ever President of Retarika. The Retarikan Constitution states that royal titles are not to be recognised.

Yes we do but we don't say king or queen. We say Lord/Lady General, as they command the military.

The current Imperial family is the House of Rossagne, though its rule is considered illegitimate by succession law, which recognises the currently deposed house of Seyley-Yan Kraetek-Valentine as the sole legitimate Imperial family.

Yes. The Arcadonisian Royal Family is the oldest and most respected family in the entire Empire. Our King has a husband along with two children. The Royal Family itself has been reborn through the renewal of the King's birthright to the throne.

by Cameroi
there has never been either a political party, nor a monarchy, at any time in the history of cameroi.

we do have a constitutional option of electing a guardianship, which is a for life office, which functions somewhat as a constitutional monarch. this option has never been exercised at the national level, and requires a 2/3rd majority of the popular vote if/when, it is invoked at any level. a very few local communities actually do elect one.

these are not inherited however, but elected like any other political office. nor have any of them actually served for the remainder of their lives, but may instead step down at any time. few have ever actually chosen to serve for more then a decade. and again at any rate, there has never been one at the national level.

cameroi culture does not believe in a concept of hierarchy. only of serving and coordinating instead.

Yes, we do. Well, technically it's an Imperial Family- the House of Romula- although the Emperor of Old Tyrannia is also the King of Northern Venezue and Southwestern Kinitaria, so if you're a Northern Venezuean or a Southwestern Kinitarian they're the Royal Family. The dynasty can trace its descent back to the last Roman Emperor, Romulus Augustulus.

by Lahar
Sort of. Lahar used to have a royal family. The line of Zanzil, descended from Zanzil I, pseudo-mythological hero of Lahar. His last descendant, Zanzil DLV, was a tyrant, and the throughout his reign the people attempted seventeen coups, until the noble families aided them and the majority of the King's army turned on him. He was ousted, and his family exiled. He was replaced by Commander Zain, hundredth in blood. His family is now the royal family.
