True, but phasing out is a timely process due to the need of reconfigurating the military production line and retraining of the military to use it effectively, especially if it is very different from the existing one, which is why we would prefer to only purchase some of the standardised weapon as auxillary. While having different weapons in a unit is unavoidable, having more than essential can be a nightmare, as the Japanese military found out having more munition type than there are men in a squad did not work well with its piss-poor supply capacity.

I don't know how a variant with slight changes to accept different munitions is "very different". In fact, it will likely be barrel changes for mostly everything. In fact, for the most part, an entirely new model won't be needed and the whole thing can be done rather quickly if the alliance cooperates.

The whole point of this is prevent exactly what the Japanese went through.

I guess you have a point as long as we are not adopting coilguns or something. Though seeing that our military contribution is likely to be minimal, I guess it does not really matter much. The fact that the majority of our industry being provided by stubborn guilds and workshops also mean we will be buying said parts or whole guns from other member states instead.

RECOGNIZING:

* The Puschanese are an enemy to the Equaliumnese people and all Neko nations, and are a necessary threat to the people of not just Equalium, but other potential Neko nations throughout the world/outer (inner or under or sky) world and is mandatory to vanquish this threat before they can do actual damage to any other people.

RESOLUTION:

* I - The Author of the article had propose to a full declaration of war without consulting the Farcheestian Union (the planet that Equalium is on equivalent to the United Nations) and break Code #64 Section H of War declarations, and will condemn all condescending towards the decision of the act of war from the Farcheestian Union. Period.
* II - Recognizing that all Neko nations of the INAF are here to declare war, and have direct intervention against Puscha, but no combat intervention until approved by The Republic of Oaledonia.
* III - The use of Weapons of Mass Destruction are hereby prohibited due to Equalium wanting to abide the Nuclear Weapons ban treaty of 2004. The INAF will agree to these terms.
* IV - The INAF will provide medical and arms assistance to assist the Equaliumnese and persecute any Puschanese living inside of the borders of their respective nation. All Puschanese in INAF territory are hereby stripped of all citizenship, military rank and government positions and are to have a mandatory deport out of the country.

Wtih the Equaliumnese military would be helpful.

This war is seriously not popular with other nations. We're practically only supported by two to four nations and two groups. The Puschanese has many allies behind their back and MANY insurgent groups.

That's what we would of done if Indenburt had not banned nuclear weapons in the early 2000's Farcheestian Union law that passed. Puscha would of been gone LOOOONGGGG ago.
