The wooden end isn't attached to the stock, it's a foregrip. Magazine as grip because fuck hands that's why.

EDIT: Apparently I missed some of it. It uses the mag as a grip for no real reason, and has a folding stock with a wooden bit on the end.

It's really not all that bad. Your AO-46 uses the magazine as a grip too.

I claim no knowledge as to what the legislators in California belive thier restrictions actuallyy acheieve or why they choose the restrictiosn they did although i suspect it has as much to do with making life as difficult for people without going as far as to ban things in a way that might bring federal/constitutional lawsuits.

It's just too damn expensive and complicated.

Also the mag is bent on the AN.

AK-107 is a lot like the AEK-971 but with more :kalash: and less wire stocks.

We actually fixed that issue on the Zeonic Varient we replaced the Feed Mech with that of a revamped TWIS system you know like what you would find in say a Mac10 or 11 right? And then attacted a box magazine its only issued to veteran personal anyway so they know how to handle a bit extra weight in a rifle that would come along with the box.

The only issue with the new feed system as far as i could tell is a minor firing pin issue due it using a higher recieve RPM rate then the AN.

So you might occasionally get a dry fire even if there is a round in the chamber if the timing was off a bit.

Still it was a way to work with the weapon and adapt it for usage it really is a immensely stable and apart from its requirements a fine gun.

And as would luck would have it we are mass importing 102s for arming the National Militia and Reserve corps with.

It wouldn't take much additional training to get people used to the feel of 107.

The -102 is (at least this is what wiki says it is) a -74M chambered for 5.56, mostly. The -107 is BARS.

If you choose the AK-108, you get what is basically an AK-107 firing 5.56 using the same mags the AK-102 uses. Of course, the 5.45 > 5.56, so the only reason to do this is logistics.

Bleh and this is why we have seperate rifles for diffrent divisions in the Military.

Uniform Rifles cause issues such as this still its something to consider i suppose.

To be fair, from what I've heard, 5.56x45mm NATO and 5.45x39mm are almost the exact same in terms of performance. This is the first time someone has said one of them is actually superior to the other.

5.45 has less recoil. If they're the same ballisticly, the 5.45 has that advantage.

Also, it's lighter/smaller. So more rounds can be carried.

Why? its an Additional firerate for veteran soldiers.

These things were going to Speical Forces Operatives, not raw recuirts and the ability to direct even more fire then what a standard rifle can produce is something considerable.

You can have a handful of squads answering with a Battlions worth of firepower.

Still this was as i said earlier a mere side effect of taking an existing recieve and firing system from what basically is a Machine Pistol. Still it solved a fairly major issue with the Weapon; You could merely report the ejector and resize the Magazines but thats a major logistical issue to consider when you think about the volume we were building the things in.

Made more sense just to recraft them to work.
