[Saxon Confederation]

The current standard issue assault rifle is the AR-40 M09. The rifle was designed and put into production in early 2009 and became the main military weapon of the both the Conscript Army and the Professional Army by mid-2010. The AR-40 M09 features a bull-pup design and two interchangeable barrels, one being a carbine barrel, another being a longer barrel for increased accuracy. The rifle fires a 6.5 Grendel round but there have been multiple variations designed for the rifle such as the FMJ round, explosive round, and tracer round. The rifle is also used by the Colonial Peacekeeping Forces in the Saxon Colonial Union.

Any one have any suggestions? The 94 is a great rifle; bit to complicated for its own good though.

A maxim yes, that particular version no.

The only parts/design-commonality the Fiat has to the Maxim is the water-jacket and the tripod, literally..

The Fiat requires oiled cartridges because it uses straight blowback.

So if you take a Maxim, and throw-away the toggle-lock, replace the guts with an SMG 'Bliss-lock', is it still a Maxim?
