And his AR-18, which MT alt used until it switched to the AK for political reasons.

Background
In May 1962, the Research and Development bureau of the Inquilabstani Central command issued a directive which outlaid replacing the then current production RPD and ZB.vz26 clones, which were the mainstay of Inquilabstani support weapons. The directive was met by the ISA and by 1963, two designs were in place. One was designed by a team led by Imran Nair, who also worked on the AK-57. The other, a Karzai design, was an open bolt design. Testing conducted over the next two years found the Nair design to be more reliable, and in 1967, was introduced into Red Guard units. Over the years, the T-67 has served alongside the PKM and is a well liked and reliable weapon. Widely exported to Inquilabstani client states, it has become a common sight on the modern battlefield.
Construction and Design
Designed to be produced quickly and cheaply than the AR-15, theT-67 is made primarily of stamped steel, with only the bolt carrier, gas block, piston system and barrel being milled. This lends the weapon remarkable reliability, as well as light weight, ease of construction, cheapness and speed of manufacture. The furniture is made of Sal with current models receiving a black polymer coat. It is equipped with a simple bipod and is designed as a squad-level support weapon; it is also suitable for installation and vehicle mounting. TheT-67 can be used as a light anti-aircraft weapon when it is put on an AA mount. Typical of Soviet Bloc machine guns, the standard model feeds from the right and ejects its spent cases via an ejection port on the left side of the weapon. The T-67 uses ignited powder gases vented through a port in the barrel to propel a gas piston rod connected to the locking assembly (it uses a long-stroke piston system). The barrel breech is locked with a vertically tilting, downward locking lever mechanism that is connected to the bolt carrier through an articulated joint. The locking shoulder and camming surfaces that guide the locking lever are located at the base of the receiver. The T-67 fires from an open bolt. Both the spring-powered extractor and ejector are contained in the bolt. The machine gun has a striker firing mechanism, an automatic-only trigger assembly and a manual cross-bolt push-button safety, which is located above the pistol grip. With the safety placed in the safe setting, the sear mechanism is disabled. The safety can only be engaged with the weapon cocked.
Variants
The ART-65 comes in a number of variants, including:
- T-67O,
- T-67VM,
- T-67M,
Several foreign copies were also manufactured by Inquilabstani allies
