Around 312 active nuclear super carriers with 130 on reserve and 20 under construction, 102 Amphibious Assault ships with around 40 being currently built, and around 92 amphibious docking ships with only 15 being extra being constructed.

The Imperial Britannia Navy aims to achieve a vastly larger naval force in order to project power effectively across our Commonwealth Realms.

A lot of them. We maintain 23 Blood Eagle orbital carriers, our largest carrier type. It's built to stand up to FT level ships, but it can't do FTL. They can also launch aerospace craft at the surface and provide fire support.

Of the total currently in service, just 66 are 'super-carriers', while 307 are classed as 'aviation cruisers' and 132 are so-called 'sea control ships'. Though some of these warships possess a degree of amphibious capability, more heavily specialised vessels designated by the Commonwealth Guard as 'amphibious warships' represent a separate category and are not counted towards the aircraft carrier total, regardless of their own aviation capabilities.

The number of naval aircraft in Soviet service is at present a little shy of 125,000, though significant numbers are rotary-wing vehicles embarked upon surface combatants, or are shore-based aircraft.

Naval aviation remains a relatively low priority. The overwhelming bulk of the Soviet Commonwealth's maritime defence spending is directed into the submarine service, which possesses more than seventeen-thousand boats of all classes. Defence and deterrence generally prevail over the Bourgeois penchant for force-projection.

While officially classified as Escort Carriers, the Bastet class are smaller versions of the Dragon class, but are only capable of operating S/VTOL aircraft and Helicopters. Their primary assignment is as flagships for colonial patrol sqaudrons.

The Buccaneer class is actually a class designed and built in one of the Dominions, the two ships Buccaneer and Corsair being built first for the RLN in 1990 and 1994. The Kraken was ordered and laid down in 1993 for commissioning in 1997 and was sold to the GHRN while building in 1995. It currently serves as flagship for the 1st Hunter-Killer Group (ASW).

There's still one active vessel in service deliberately designed and configured as an aircraft carrier, usually only used in training exercises and as a mobile base for low-intensity conflicts and non-military missions. There's two ships of the same type and design currently "mothballed" and in risk of being decommissioned permanently. Dedicated aircraft carriers and similar unarmoured surface vessels have been considered obsolete by the Prut Armed Forces since the 50s and probably won't experience any comeback soon. They are simply not compatible with our current warfare methods and doctrines.

However, several other vessels carry aeroplanes as part of their usual contingent and equipment, albeit not in a dedicated role, but as a supplement. Cruisers often act as supplementary carriers when necessary and can accommodate several planes. Every vessel is required to carry at least one helicopter and at least one drone, up to and including submarines, which usually don't carry a helicopter per se, but are designed to allow one to land on them if needed. Out fleet is big enough and spread wide enough to create an intricate network of connected landing strips and bases, thus they jointly form a mobile and decentralised air base without over-concentrating the power projection capability in one vulnerable place or several isolated pockets.

The government currently approved of increased military spending, which means more carriers will be built.
