- Get a driver's license: For motorcycles/scooters/other 2- and 3-wheeled vehicles only: 15 for a learners' license and 16½ for a regular license. For a general license: 16 for a learners' license and 18 for a regular license. For specialty and restricted vehicles: 21 years.

- Get married: 18
- Join the military: 16, but can only serve in frontline combat positions after 17.

- Become leader of your country: Technically there is no limitation on the age to become Emperor, but in practice since 1800 the youngest has been 27. To become an MP and thence a Chancellor (minister), 30.
