Some of these may seem a bit harsh, but they work well, and never caused any problems. The reason that Vjørnburgën are only considered adults at the age of 20 is that we have a 16-grade mandatory education system - starting from what is regularly called a preschool up until the second year of what is normally considered college. After that, Vjørnburgën have the oppurtunity to pursue either another two, four, or six years of education. Although some opt to continue on and take eight or even ten years of education, most people take no more than six years.
