What is the drinking age in your nation? Is it enforced heavily or not?

In Arkiasis it's 18. The law isn't generally enforced for general consumption, but you must be 18 or over to purchase alcohol for stores.

Our legal purchase age of alcohol is 17 from stores and 19 from restaurants, bars, etc. Generally what this means in restaurants is someone over 19 must be in your party, but no one younger than 15. In private homes, however, there is no way to enforce a drinking age law.

Federally it is at age 16. However, some states allow those under this mandated drinking age to drink if they have augmented themselves with ETHASPEED (C), Jameson Biotech's patented alcohol catalyst supplement (sorry, the generic name is not available), or weigh more than 91 kilograms (and even then they are strictly limited to two drinks and penalties for accidents caused by drunk driving are higher).

Only a single county, Novi Bondhaagen County (with only one city in the county borders covering 100% of the county), has legalized all alcohol, the Novi Bondhaagen Alcohol Act, 2001, passed in Congress, in 2001, and has it at 21.

Wine, is the only alcoholic beverage that is legal outside Novi Bondhaagen, and the drinking age is either at First Communion, or 21 years. The reason why wine was exempt from prohibition was that in 1899, when it was proposed, the Pope threatened that if passed, they'd excommunicate all those who voted yes. When wine was removed from the list of banned beverages, the Pope stepped back.

We set either 17 or 19 as every age of things. For example, military service, voting, alcohol, etc is 17. The only 19 year old stuff is legal contract stuff like marriage, land ownership (not property), legal parenthood (children born to minors are under custody of the newborn's grandparents until one if the two reaches 19), and other binding agreements.

Also, conscription is mandatory for males 17-19 (opt out for guys, opt in for women). This is done before college and attempts to provide a good segue between high school and further career choices.

The minimum age is 18 to purchase alcohol or drink in public. There is no minimum age for children to drink within the home with parental permission, though the government is considering legislation which defines giving pre-teens access to alcohol as a form of child abuse.
