I'd say so, even though many MT weapons were originally built during that timeframe.

Not past-tech, but I do Past RPs on occasion.

Equestria has a cross between "steampunk" and "magic tech". It's mainly past tech, around 19th century--balloons, steam-powered locomotives, pony-drawn carriages, and so on. Every now and then, though, you'll find the odd piece of magical powered "modern" technology such as studio lights, industrial machinery or a full-blown disc jockey setup, amplifiers and all.

While Vloskovia is mostly set in the present day, sometimes it's set in 1944 or 2002.

1234 - 1861 (wherein I believe the "past" stops and "early modern" begins).

Starts off as a Kingdom in the middle ages and progresses to democracy after Napoleon's Revolutions (kind of gets the spark going so to speak).

See sig. I can and sometimes do RP in past tech, but most of my RPs are either FT or FanT... still, if someone has a good, non-restrictive idea then I'm up for PT.
Yes, all musical references are intentional.

The Rhythm Nation was founded in 1369 and is still around as late as 5000 AD, so I can RP in any tech setting you want. But magic does exist and can be used, and this is non-negotiable.

Sternland is in the year 1660, although I could probably push it ahead without much trouble.
