Probably somewhere around Centre-left
Socially Polvia is pretty socially liberal though there are a couple exceptions:
    1) Only marijuana is legalized and the general consensus does not seem to favour further legalization of narcotics.
    2) Our gun laws are very restrictive:
      A) Aside from low caliber air pistols, and a very limited number of guns available to people who rely on hunting, all guns are banned from civilian ownership.
      B) All weapons have an ammunition limit of five to ten rounds dependent on the type of gun in question.
      C) Guns and ammunition are only available through state approved stores, so private selling of guns or ammunition at gun shows or over the web is prohibited.
      D) In order to get a license to own, or even hold a gun or buy ammunition, the citizen must go through an extensive process of background, psychological and medical tests, safety courses, etc. They must renew the license every three years.
      E) All gun owners, and people who purchase ammunition, are registered in a national registry, and subject to random police inspection, for the sole purpose of ensuring all safety laws (ie. Keeping the guns out of reach of small children) are being followed.

Economically Polvia is a Socialist nation by its constitution.

Economically we're center-right.

Welfare/Rights we're far left.

We're considered to be far-left, being extremely socially liberal, maintaining an extensive welfare state, etc.
Our economy is organized in a far-left manner too, generally being considered to be guild socialist, organized in a cooperative manners in which workers maintain their control over the means of production through guilds, in which they elect their captains of the industry to guide them and maintain oversight on behalf of the state. A captain of the industry is an elected representative who helps in drafting the economic plans of the State Cooperative Chamber, and is also a member of said chamber. He receives the production targets the workers themselves have set and then drafts that into the economic plan for his industry in the State Cooperative Chamber, which then accepts or denies it. he also makes sure said production targets are lived towards on behalf of the State Cooperative Chamber.

The Radiatian Federation is a democracy and therefore cannot be measured on a left-right scale. It depends on who is in power.

Economically, the Federation is right, but probably not far-right. Culturally, we're probably center to center-left. We're tolerant, in the true sense of the word. Political correctness isn't tolerated here, except in the handful of Republics run by the Progressives or Greens, whose members are basically the only people that believe that nonsense.

We do have libertarian fringe parties, but we are not libertarians. They are considered idealists, but they are nonetheless too extreme and believe in impractical things. We aren't anarchists and we do have a minimal safety net. We also do have some laws restricting personal freedom, primarily at the Republic level. The Federation Constitution grants the Republic governments broad powers, but we can pass amendments when some Progressive or Theocrat controlled Republic goes too far to ban their abuses.

As we are a relatively open political system, our society could be changed if enough people vote for it. However, the system is designed with very strong checks and balances to protect the status quo.

Far-left. Vilkavis rejects the title 'communist' as a communist nation or state is an oxymoron.

OOC: I'm interested as to why communism is implied to be far-right, and the opposite of anarchism.

We exist as a leftist nation in welfare and the tenets of Communism but are otherwise far-right (especially in nationalism).

Because all men are slaves we would be classed as far right. For women however the government operates a centre to centre-left attitude.
