We have a good number of immigrants here, mostly from countries with populations of sapient Reptilians, with some Dwarves, Ponies and Cetaceans as well. In order to become a citizen, they must remain in the country for five to ten years before they can apply for it. Then, they must pass a citizenship test. If they manage to pass it, then they are sworn in as citizens of Saurisia.

Chelta has an "assimilation" immigration policy, so the bulk of the immigrants we accept are people who will easily and readily assimilate into Cheltish culture: people predominantly from Western, Christian, English-speaking cultures. That said, special preference is given to immigrants from former Cheltish colonies and dominions, which are predominantly non-white.

Economics dictates all immigration however - we generally only accept people whose skills are needed or will benefit our economy.

Deiterra accepts immigrants from all nations, but those entering are screened carefully. We do not allow foreign atheists to become citizens, as they could slowly increase the amount of atheists in the nation above the 0.5% it is required to be. Atheists only measure 0.2% of the population at the moment, but we make sure to keep their numbers in check. Immigrants seeking asylum for political or religious reasons are screened as well to make sure they are not bringing any dangerous ideologies with them. But most immigrants that are religiously and fairly conservative are welcome.

There are few immigrants to the nation of Arboriel. Those who decide to immigrate are usually scholars, students, or other counter culture alternative types. Those who harbor radical ideals and unorthodox paradigms are welcome. In very rare cases radical luminaries from outside Arboriel's borders are offered citizenship if they are willing to immigrate. Most would be immigrants are turned off by Arboriel's loosely defined gender roles, near state endorsement of atheism, and our socialist leanings. Arboriel does have a growing number of would be hermits immigrating to the country in order to take advantage of our legendary forests.

We get a few immigrants to our nation, owing to the vast distances that need to be crossed to get to us and the few who make it are quickly assimilated into our culture.

We had border jumpers. The natives didn't like that at all. Something about ethnic tension between tinpot African dictator A and sham republic African dictator B. Anyways, we haven't had border jumpers after we sic'd the native militia on them. As far as legal immigration, you require a job offer and a university education.
