The great motherland of Lidli has 3 types of currency. 1: primitive trading for the more rural, backwoods sorts of areas.
2:Aureuss. Similar to bit coins. they look like pokerchips with a small rectangular screen in the center showing how much cash you have left. Both coin and paper worth but small scale.
3:Credits or Creds for short. basically the same as an Aureuss chip but looks like a credit card and does not show the amount via screen right off the bat. a small fingerprint on the upper right hand corner must be pressed with the thumb to activate a hologram screen plastered over the card, almost seeming to hover slightly by the mistaken eye. That will show the amount and it is only used in large amounts of $50,000 or more.
now, seeing as most families live in small homes or rent an apartment or something and just go by their means, they will not own a Credit. Mainly because of the american 50's ideals of money in Lidli. $40 or so buys them groceries for a month, fuel for their vehicles being $2.00 at the most, and usually not even that, a typical 1 1/2, some times even 2 story colonial being some where between 2 or 3,000... Aureuss of course. Life in Lidli is pretty cheap. Unless your planning on buying a movie star's house and eating caviar every day, its pretty fine to just hold onto your Aureuss.
And we are only partially communist. We still believe in the layers of rich and poor, we just believe you should be envying the councils and movie stars, not your next door neighbors. Which is why Lidli is in segregated areas. The rich do not live near the middle class who do not live near the poor. What little of the poor there is, that is, which isn't much.
