Are there such things as ergonomic magazines other than those that you can grip? Seems pointless to have have ones that could be considered ergonomic.

Also, I just found out the combined age of two of my guns guns is 222.

The way it works is like this:

Round fires, pressure pushes the casing & bolt backwards, like a normal blowback. Connected to the back of the bolt is a sort of disc, that is connected to a very long pistol that goes the length of the gun above the barrel. The disc rotates, pushing the piston forward. A powerful spring pushes the piston backwards when it's at its forwardmost point, which then rotates the disc the other way, pushing the bolt closed again. This simulates BARS, but without the drawbacks of a gas system.

Such a system could not reasonably work with weaker cartridges, but with the 10mm magnum cartridge the M57 was designed for, it should have more than enough power to move the disc and pison.

Advice: Imagine your hand holding the pistol grip. You hand should cover the entire grip apart from maybe a centimetre or two from the bottom. Now, with that pictured, could you fit your finger into the trigger guard and efficiently pull the trigger? If not, enlarge the trigger guard and move the trigger forward until their is room for a gloved finger, it is able to be pulled easily and you can comfortably rest your finger over it for when you're not shooting people, but will be soon.

This is my first piece of calmed advice to you. Heed it.

Well, Corda's foo'-capper is scaled correctly.

Also, do the the same kind of process with the stock, and anything that requires part of your body touching it at some point for that matter.

Can't say I've seen that many non-bullpup weapons with "whatever you call them" style trigger guards.

It's better, but you still have to move the trigger forward slightly and enlarge it.

Actually, if it's okay with Risen-Britannia, you should base you trigger guard of his rifle that he posted so that it's a bit larger. Not how it looks, but just for getting the scale right.

Actually, if it's okay with Risen-Britannia, you should base you trigger guard of his rifle that he posted so that it's a bit larger. Not how it looks, but just for getting the scale right.

You can only modernize something so much

only thing I can think of is making it shorter, and chambering it in a non-7mm FN Short round.

It'll be used as a DMR/Battle Rifle.

Also, don't bother - I found another version of the site pictures and they don't have the right side of the gun either.

The Swedish now are issuing out red-dot sights on their G3s without irons.

You could issue out red-dots as standard, but keep irons.

As it's airsoft, I hope that the real-steel version would hold 30 rounds, as I may create such a thing.

Generally pretty well. In my time I spent freezing my ass off, the biggest issue I had was my DMs scope kept fogging up. This was at about -30-40 degrees centigrade mind you.

So a red dot or something similar wouldn't freeze up and have it's view obscured too often then?

Note that in the Fordy/Ulfr-Reich universe, normal cold is usually near-Arctic.
