The Radiatian Federation is the successor state to the Radiatian People's Socialist Union which was a federal Marxist-Leninist Socialist State, which occasionally strayed into Stalinist territory before transitioning to being a Socialist Market Economy in the vein of Deng Xiaopeng's reforms in China.

While technically Radiatia was never communist, merely a socialist state aiming for communism, the ruling Communist Party and attached regime were overthrown in a democratic revolution in 1992. Radiatia has since embraced capitalism - an economic system more suited to Radiatia's highly individualistic culture.

For most Radiatians communism is considered a distant memory. The Communist Party is still legal but enjoys virtually zero popular support, with Radiatians now connoting communism to the number of massacres, purges and atrocities committed by the former regime.

after a disasterous economic crash and depression, the people of Isolatonia were sick of money. they resented the stockexchange and trusts which had caused the crash. a democratic socialist party was voted in during the next election. private enterprise has been limited to small, single branch sole trader level businesses. tax rates were increaseddramatically to pay for a public welfare system.

There is little or no Communism in Miencraft, not for the reason that it is not allowed, but because they fear the majority anti-Communist belief, and nobody really starts to consider Communism because they're too smart to be dragged into that trap. We don't particularly do anything to Communists unless the actually go and commit a crime. Even then, though, their punishment is no more severe than any right-winger committing the same crime.
As far as the general opinion, Miencraftic citizens look down on it and its followers as stupid.

Communism is a well supported ideology though it is currently not in practice due to its end goals. During our great revolution both nationalists and communists led the way towards victory, and the end result was the creation of a Left-Wing Nationalist party which forcefully united our nation. It is worth mentioning that we tend to look towards Titoism should we need an alternative to our current policies. Though again, communism is well supported but it's just that, the state is the only hope our people need and not a fantasy of chaos. Good day.

Most people despise marxism. It's a social taboo. It's like being a white supremacist in America. Though what is called "anarcho-communism"(which is called "communism" in Ikigain) is respected. It's seen as too impractical. It thinks everybody should be allowed to vote. They want to let spencer prat and all his fans vote.

What's your nations opinion of communism? It is pretty popular, but Socialism and Workplace Democracy are far more popular and used much more. However, Anarcho-Communism is also quite popular, and used a lot.

Do you use it? A little bit. Anarcho-Communsim is used in Metro City, East Point, North Metra, and Indianopolis. Anarcho-communism is used moderately is all other places, except South Metra.

Anarcho-Communism, like in Ikigain, is called Communism, while Marxism, Titioism, Left Communsim, and Trotskyism is called Socialism. Other forms of Communism are called Stalinism, Juche, etc., etc. Stalinism and Juche is called Left Nazism. Socialism is called Progressivism, Progressivism called Social Liberalism and so on.
