They are allowed to have firearms if they have a clean criminal record, over 14 and are mentally alright. Most armed population is found in the countryside.

The long and short of it is that, in Zhipang, civil defense is considered the responsibility of the government's armed forces. Policing is done by sanctioned police forces.

Military grade weapons, such as automatic, high-veloticy (class 3 of the type federal troops use), and explosives of any grade are banned from private use. Arms are not allowed to be publicly discharged (outside a defensive context) or concealed, but may be used solely for the purpose of personal defense of one's person or home.

Yes, the Reich does allow for its citizens to bear arms. Although, unlike in many nations where owning a firearm is meant for the citizen to defend against tyranny of the state, private ownership of arms in the Reich is meant so that every citizen is able to the Reich from both foreign and domestic threats.

It is not a guaranteed right, due to being a nation that is de facto anarchist, but considering that there is no government, people are technically able to own firearms and most people do own at least one gun.
Now mostly a politik discuss account.

Our gun laws are quite lax, but they have changed many times in our history and virtually nobody considers owning firearms to be a "right" which needs to be recognised in the constitution.

Absolute Right to Bear Arms. There are no victimless crimes in this "country".

We follow the Japanese model. Civilians are only allowed to buy rifles and shotguns, and even then they are only allowed after an extensive licensing procedure. Consequentially, we have one of the lowest crime rates in the world.

In my nation, all firearms are legal. The exceptions are with people with a violent criminal record and mental problems. Also, guns do not have to be registered.

Ena Zale does allow firearms, however, those who wish to own one must be registered with the government, same with magic ability. It's not a pervasive practice, rather than names we use serial numbers, and extensive exams are conducted both in the physical sector and how to fire or cast, and they must pass a psychological exam showing they are responsible enough to use them. Once that is passed, the individual is assigned a serial number and that number is scanned in shops that sell firearms, or in schools that teach magic, and only those unlocked by the exams can be used.

The indigenous tribes of Red Wolf Forest are notoriously split on their foreign policy towards outsiders. Some more conservative tribes would desire total hostility towards foreigners while others would rather engage in peaceful trading agreements but without allowing them to invade into their lifestyles.

However, to keep the more conservative tribes happy it is considered legal (and common sense) for all tribesmen to be able to own their own weapons, with almost all of them doing so. For most, this is fashioned tomahawks, axes and longbows from wood, stone and the iron and steel recycled from the armours of dead attackers. However, in the past quality made weapons from the forges of the nearby kingdoms who aren't bound by a subservience to nature as the tribes are have been traded with the tribes of Red Wolf Forest, and are considered a great luxury indeed for the most skilled of warriors.

We used to have this right until the massive amount of gun violence, and the reaction to what happened in the 2013 Tiraqualium Mosque bombing which made the city go into a mandatory evacuation. Guns are now only restricted to the Police and only in times of war, citizens may get guns. They are all locked in a Private owned Armoury.

The right for civilians (i.e. non-military personnel) to bear arms is granted by the Fourteenth Amendment to the Constitution, adopted in 1798. This Amendment was enacted after a secret shipment of 1,000 rifles and more than 17,500 bullets was discovered in Lexington Harbor in October 1795. The Harbor Police began to search ships more thoroughly, and discovered evidence of a prolific illegal gun trade. They declared it impossible to arrest all people involved; so, the right to bear arms was granted.

Yes every citizen who passes metal screenings and gets a gun Safty lesson can buy a firearm. Military personel already have been given mental screenings and firearms training so most of the time a former soldier who has ether retired or honorably discharged can just flash his military ID and get a firearm.

Pretty much this. If you've served your national service without misconduct and have never been convicted of a "violent" crime - defined, for this purpose, as a crime that implies you would be a plausible danger to yourself or others if allowed to own a weapon - then yes, you have the right to bear arms. Within reason, of course. Nobody's allowed to keep a rocket launcher hanging over the mantelpiece.
