Non - criminals and Non - high school dropouts(excluding those who dropped out to join the military) are free to own small to medium rifles and automatic weapons, and modified versions of light vehicular armor. The companies that vend them are encouraged to exercise restraint when selling them, as they are fined for any crimes committed using those weapons.

Only police and military, if you want to go hunt you go to a local store in which you rent a gun. If you don't return it you have a choice of paying a heavy fine and giving the gun back or prison.

It is legal to own a gun here, and it is written in the Second Amendment that every American should have the right to bear arms.

Former President Obama tried, albeit unsuccessfully, to introduce gun control laws in the past.
Think of the United States of America as it would look like when Rick Santorum becomes President.

Anyways, this is a puppet of Zokoria, and it does not reflect my views at all.

We have no firearms in our nation, however every citizen over the age of 13 may carry either a knife, dagger, longbow, or crossbow for the purpose of self defence.

Citizens can own any weapon they desire. Every man and woman is armed to the teeth. Frankia faithfully abides by the Swiss model in this regard.

Guns are totally outlawed in the GBA. Unless your are in the GBA police force or GBA army you are not allowed any sort of firearm. Firearms are strictly government controlled.

I only use the bodies I reserve for the military when I want to use guns, so I guess you could say that only my military is allowed to use guns.

Yes, of course. Only a paranoid and repressive dictatorship would attempt to do away with this right. Citizens are allowed to own anything they can get their hands on.

The right to bear arms is for the weak nations. If you arm your citizens you are tieing your own noose. My people are fine without guns. They have us, their government to protect them. Giving them guns would be like giving a child a knife. He's only going to hurt himself with it.

It's not a constitutionally guaranteed right for all citizens, but if you serve your Civil Service term in the Military or National Police, and are honorably discharged, there are few limits on what one can own. There is an extensive licensing and registration process, however, but it's tied in with national ID cards and relatively streamlined.

Yes. The government of Deiterra advocates the ownership of firearms for its citizens. More specific laws and guidelines have been explained in the Firearms Freedom Regulations of 1951.

"Ever since Deiterra gained its independence in 1947, the people of Deiterra enjoy very lax gun laws and regulations. In 1951, the parliament of Deiterra drafted a set of laws that explains the three classes of firearms that can be obtained by the Deiterran people.

Class 1: Class 1 weapons are any firearms that are single-shot magazine or clip capacities and use the bolt-action, lever action, or pump action mechanisms. Any black powder or single-shot cartridge shotguns or rifles make up this class. Pistols are not available in this class.

Class 2: Class 2 weapons are any firearms that use 2-50 round magazines or clips. Class 2 weapons all use cartridges and are either bolt-action, pump-action, lever action, or semi-automatic rifles, pistols and shotguns.

Class 3: Class 3 weapons are any firearms that use 5-100 round magazines or clips. Class 3 weapons all use cartridges and are all fully automatic rifles, pistols, submachine guns, and shotguns. Incendiary and fragmentation grenades are included in this class.

Class 4: Class 4 was recently added in 2005, this class covers all weapons that are high-explosive or laser-based weaponry. A few examples of weapons in this class are: C-4, Semtex, grenade launchers, RPGs, rocket launchers, flamethrowers, any and all laser based rifles, pistols, and grenades.

All legal, law-abiding citizens of Deiterra may own any weapons that are included in Classes 1-3 without permits or government-issued licenses. But former criminals, the mentally impaired, and atheists can only posses Class 1 weapons, and they must register with local, state, and governmental authorities in order to gain Class 1 firearms.

Class 4 weapons may only be obtained by the citizen if they pass several background checks and obtain a permit to posses Class 4 weapons."

No part of the original 1708 Federal Constitution allows citizens of the Union to own firearms except in first defense of their nation. Our citizenship laws also make a very clear and unbiased process of firearms ownership. You are not considered an official citizen until you have at least completed your minimum two-year compulsory military service AND have no criminal record prior to becoming a citizen. Here, you must earn the right to be a citizen.

Relevance? Non-citizens, of any capacity, are not allowed to own firearms of any kind. Citizens both have completed their service in the military and have, upon their eighteenth birthday, given a 21-digit Federal Identity Number (XX-XXX-XX-XXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-X.) This number is extremely important, as banks and the military both require it; banks for approving loans and the military to be able to legally consider someone for infantry. To avoid confusion, whether you are in the military or not, no one is given a FIN until their eighteenth birthday. The FIN is required for all firearms purchases, and FINs with criminal records are banned from the firearms registry and not allowed to be used in firearms purchase. It is illegal to use someone else's FIN, for any purpose whatsoever.

Article 1068 Special Circumstances, of the Federal Constitution, covers two common problems that arise with the issue of firearms ownership:
-- families who have heirloom firearms for which the documentation was destroyed in the fire at the Central Federal Archives in 1936
-- people who purchased firearms before 1972, when the current federal firearms code was enacted.

No, there is no civil right granting such things. The reality is that it is law that all subjects own personal firearms. After compulsory service in the Royal Military, all subjects are conscripts to the local (relative to where they live) militia (more of a reserve system than anything). Criminals once released from prison serve their "parole" in the Royal Army or Marines, once this term (typically ten years) is complete they can opt to re-enlist or return to civilian life and be conscripted into their local militia. If the criminal violates the terms of their "parole" the term is either extended or they are returned to prison (determined by their command staff).

The terms of the militia is that you must provide your own rifle and sidearm, and a hundred rounds of ammunition per weapon (supply beyond that will be provided for by the militia), both of which are standardized by the militia command. For example, one city has determined that all side arms must fire 11.5mm rounds and all standard rifles to fire 7.62x51mm rounds.

Like an free society, we allow our people the right to own weapons.

But there are some restrictions in place on the type of weapon, how you get the weapon, and who get the weapon.

Although, these restrictions are minimal really.

Shotguns, bolt/lever/pump rifles and revolvers are legal for anyone. All semi and fully automatic weapons become available to a citizen after they have done their national service. There is no registration of firearms. A citizens firearms can be confiscated if they commit a violent crime.

Technically, the subjects of the Kingdom of Alunya have the right to arm bears, as we are a rather permissive nation.

On the other had, as bears are not indigenous to the Kingdom, it is illegal to keep a bear in the first place.

After the revolution in Vilkavis, it was legislated that only members of the Communist Party could own their own weapons. This was a measure taken against possible counter-revolution. In late 1939, with the invasion of Poland by Nazi Germany, the government of Vilkavis recognised the increased risk of fascism. Believing that the best away to resist invasion is the general arming of the workers and farmers, legislation was passed extending the right to bear arms to all citizens not who are not active political opponents, among other exceptions.

Today, private ownership of weapons is regulated, but permitted. Members of the Revolutionary Guard, however, are permitted to own otherwise restricted weapons, considering their role in the militia. These weapons are generally stored in guard stations, but are sometimes taken home, depending on an individual's role.
