Talking about Fascist era, the best leader was Benito Mussolini (1883 - 1972), while the worst leader was Bettino Craxi (1934-1991), an incompetent, corrupt and pro-democratic chief of government.

WORST Albert I, who was king during the civil war era (1794 - 1800). He abolished the recently established parliament, proclaimed himself supreme leader, and declared war on his own people. The people eventually one and turned Pardonia into a republic.

BEST Joseph II, last Emperor of Pardonia during the ancient royal era (250 - 1702). He established the first parliament, turned The Empire of Pardonia into The Kingdom of Pardonia, and turned Pardonia into a military and economic superpower.
We are not fascist or authoritarian. We are conservative.

BEST: King Clarence IV (although his grandson the current King may end up becoming the greatest)
Worst: King Harald IV (he caused the battle of Salerno, although he won many people did not feel like he deserved to be King, but accepted it anyway)

Tieria Erde is the best so far and Saji Crossroad was the worst.

Manius Ulpius Ambustus was arguably the best leader Iuronia has ever had. The achievements of bringing back general balance, restoring Iuronia from a terrible inflation and a not-so-pleasant famine, and actually making the Iuronian nation an actual nation and not just a conglomerate of plebs had earned him that title, one could say. Reigned from 1846 until 1906.

Vibius Numerius Dives, on the other hand, has taken the throne by force, plunged Iuronia into several useless wars, crippled its economy, and destroyed a good amount of national monuments on the basis they there were "shrines of heretic forces." Reigned from 1456 until 1462 (assassinated by loyalists).

Best: The current prime minister and the ministry. At least, that's what the current population will likely say.

Worst: Not everyone in Ceffyltir would agree with this, but King Nimbus was probably the worst. He focused too much on building the military, and while he did expand the nation's borders, he was not afraid of sacrificing the populace's rights when doing it.

Best: Current president Eric Johnson, who balances Libertarian values and fiscal responsibility with a strong sense of social justice and an eye toward expanding civil rights in the nation. Though many of the more conservative nations would consider him a leftist, he is actually regarded as a centrist because he balances the best aspects of the right and the left while having few of the worst aspects of either side.

Worst: King Jeremy the Wicked, who during his tyrannical regime was known to literally prey upon his subjects (he was a cannibal). He was also responsible for the abduction and rape of at least one Elf girl, and oppressed his people with outlandishly high taxes and brutally overzealous law enforcement. He was assassinated by the Planeswalker Wang Chung in 1692, and afterward the monarchy was abolished and the current democratic republic put in its place.

Worst: Ferdinand I, while he wasn't terrible leader he couldn't handle the challenges he faced. He ended up abdicating and retired to a castle in Bohemia, his favorite part of the realm.
Best: Franz Josef I, When he suppressed the rebellions of 1848, expanded influence, made reforms to industrialize Auzkhia and make the government more efficient. Although Charles I and Otto I have strong merits too. The current Emperor is doing a good job.

Best: Arch Duke Felix Purpelius
Worst: Arch Duke Felix Purpelius

And no, they are not the same guy. Purpelius means "of Purpelia" in old Purpelian and is a title that serves as the de facto last name of the royal family when it comes to legal documents or referring to them in their capacity as royalty. And Felix is a honorific name taken by anyone who ascends to the throne.
Purpelia does not reflect my actual world views. In fact, the vast majority of Purpelian cannon is meant to shock and thus deliberately insane. I just like playing with the idea of a country of madmen utterly convinced that everyone else are the barbarians. So play along or not but don't ever think it's for real.

Julius Sharptoothus: A tall powerfully built Tyrannosaurus who convinced a group of inhabitants of the city-state of Thera to strike out on their own in order to escape the tyranny of Thera's oppressive king. He helped found what is now Saurus City and ensured the people of the newly-built town remained protected from the dangers of the wild. We suppose he qualifies as our best leader, for he had led his followers through hundreds of miles of vast, untamed wilderness teeming with dangerous wildlife and other environmental hazards, successfully defeated a far larger enemy force of trained soldiers, and led his followers grow their settlement from a glorified village of reed huts to a de facto city of marble and stone by the time of his death in 483 BC.

President Peter Brooks, who reigned from 1878 to 1885, would count considering that, upon ascending office, he replaced the old government of Saurisia, which had been in place since John Horridus' rise to power in the final years of the 16th century, with a full-on social democracy as well as imposing regulations on the traditionally laissez-faire Saurisian economy. Needless to say, it didn't go over so well with the general population as the economy took a plunge and the government became mired in bureaucracy, corruption, croynism, and much political infighting.

Things got so bad that in 1880, a coalition of right-wing Congressdinos, military officers, businessdinos, and proud patriots who were quite irked by Brooks' policies and thus, formed the Dinosaurs First Party as a means of opposition against Brooks and his supporters. Though Brooks, an egotistical idealist, saw the DFP as a backwards rabble and sought to outright suppress their political rallies. Unfortunately, that backfired as it eventually led to the DFP staging the coup that overthrew Brooks' democratic government and restored the status quo that had been in place since the establishment of the Second Republic in 39 BC and is still in place, in modified form, to this day.

While Peter Brooks counts as the worst Saurisian leader for sheer incompetence, Leonard Damon counts as the worst for sheer cruelty. Taking power in the wake of his mentor Mark Taylor's death at the claws of a UDR assassin, quickly established himself as a brutal totalitarian dictator, figuratively shredding the Saurisian constitution as he enacted restrictive gun control laws, enforced laws which heavily restricted citizens' privacy, did away with Saurisia's free-market economy in favor of a more centrally-planned one, and more. He did all of this with the support of Congress behind him, who were merely puppets and yes-dinos who agreed with whatever Leonard enacted and did.

In addition, he also forced thousands of non-reptiles and even Non-Mesozoic Reptiles such as Dragons, Lizards, and Khalkans into concentration camps. His Death Squads killed thousands of them and his troops even slaughtered entire islands and countries. His dreaded secret police also killed many who openly spoke out against his government and savagely tortured other dissidents and imprisoning them under appalling conditions. Thousands more non-saurians were imprisoned in dozens of internment camps scattered across the country where they were subject to harsh draconian conditions and treatment.

He was eventually overthrown during the Summer Revolution in 1947 though his life was spared by revolution leader (and old friend) Cera Hayworth, who quickly restored order, restored the government, freed those imprisoned by Damon's regime, and tried those who had ordered and carried out the horrific atrocities committed by the Union government. Leonard himself was sent into exile, never again able to return to his homeland.

WORST LEADER: Michael Lorain, who served as President of the authoritarian Delsteinian Nationalist Republic, from 1913 to 1930. He ravaged the economy, and persecuted and killed millions of people. He severely punished anyone who negatively spoke of the government. He was eventually captured in October 1930, and the government was overthrown in January 1931.

BEST LEADER: Daniel Reynolds, who served as President from 1942 to 1954. He recovered the economy and national morale after the DNR was overthrown, and established the Economic Constitution, which limited the government's economic powers.

Best: Faolán Flynn and/or Maya De Villiers
Faolán Flynn was leader of the Finairan Transitional Authority during our Revolutionary War. He went on to serve 3 terms as President. He rebuilt the nation after the war and asserted Finaira's place in the world.

Maya De Villiers was President for 4 terms. She brought Finaira through World War II and created a safe haven for many persecuted peoples, particularly those from Nazi Germany.

Worst: Raymond Chaplin
Raymond Chaplin was President from 2009 to 2012 and created needless austerity measures so that "we could avoid the Global Credit Crunch" even though we had no debts to other nations.

The historical rankings of Radiatian leaders are known to change from time to time, and surveys are conducted every few years to determine them.

When asked "who do you think the greatest leader in Radiatian history was?" most Radiatians answered that the nation's founding father, Traiyan Silviu was the greatest.

However, when the wording of the question was changed to "Who do you think the most effective and successful leader in Radiatian history was?" then Lena Toriah came out on top.

The worst leader is almost always Kurt Demodand, whose premiership was rife with scandals and accusations of corruption.

Our worst leader was the Fascist Derrack Bull, who seized control for a brief period of time along with members of the National Stephenslandic Fascist Party. When civil freedoms were swiftly outlawed, the population revolted, destroying many of the major cities. When the civil war was ended, the government was almost completely re-organized.

The new government so far has had a single leader, Daniel Bakker. He has brought a struggling people back to a path of economic and social recovery.

Worst: Dickard Nixon, in 1909 the buisness's shut down and 1910, one of the worst crashes in the economy in history. He also repealed the Congress's deal for Welfare, Personal Security, etc. in 1912 the other party won.

Following the assassination of his father, and the outbreak of civil war within the Reich, he managed to maintain Lonara's status and borders while effectively quelling future insurrection. In addition, he has actually improved the Lonarische economy to levels higher than what they ever were before the civil war.

Worst: King Railer Charles III (this was before 1610 and 1610 is when the Kingdom of Jentoan became the Republic of Jentoan). Under Railer Charles III rule, many citizens were suspected of being in the United Alliance (a group that wanted to make Jentoan into a republic) and the citizens were kept in jail or they died. Eventually, the United Alliance won the King's war (war between the Kingdom of Jentoan and the United Alliance), and as a result of this, King Railer Charles III was kept in prison for the rest of his life (the United Alliance was against the death penalty).

Best: That would Lee Tornio, one of the Republic of Jentoan's Prime Minister. He was also the longest serving Prime Minister (served for 20 years) and that is for a very good reason. Tornio made Jentoan an attractive place to do business (Jentoan was capitalist at that time, it just that it was capitalist in name only). He was in favor off less regulation, less taxes, and drug legalization (yes, he was part of the Libertarian Party). Eventually, he became known as the best politician in the country.
The Republic of Jentoan is a free market capitalist nation that also has good civil rights.
