The Protectorate government has no official opinion on the Sapient horse known as "Equus Sapiens" this is mostly due to the fact that non of them live here, non have lived here before and Kavck barely attracts any tourists, let alone immigrants, and how divided our head government officials are on the issue.

The commander of our ground forces, Earth Marshal Marcus Johnson, doesn't mind them and says that openly embracing them might help tear down the decades long xenophobia that has gripped the majority of Kavck's populace.

The commander of our air forces, Air Marshal Julius White, wants to purge them from the face of the planet, like he wants with all sapient non-humans as he sees them all as a threat to mankind's dominance of the planet and thus a threat to Kavck's sovriegnty.

Our supreme commander, War Marshal Jarid Harkness, has no opinion as he considers it a non-issue. It doesn't look like any sapient non-humans will be immigrating to our not-so-fair country in the near future, so he doesn't bother discussing it with his left and right hand men.

The public's opinion is your typical Kavckian response to most things, expect the worst, but try to act as reasonably as possible. So, if "Equus Sapiens" did start immigrating to Kavck, they would most likely be shunned by the populce and the sales of guns and other self/home-defense products would most likely increase substantially among local, human Kavckians. Eventually, the Kavckians would cool down, provided no dramatic incidents occur, and might actually start warming up to them.

Essentially, the public's opinion would follow your typical Tsundre archtype. We're somewhat ashamed for being so cliché.

My Little Pony has never aired in Nu Sparta though products and dvds are often sold in Pangus, a colony of the Imperial Spartanian Empire. There are a few children's fans among Spartanians living in the colonies of Pangus though it is not a national sensation. The High Council has often recieved reports and rumors of sentient horses and ponies, but official denounces these as foreign superstition. Most likely if a Equus Sapiens was found in the empire by anyone other then a child fan it would cause be considered some type of spirit or evil entity and its capture and execution would be swift.

So basically, How are Equus Sapiens (Ponies) treated in your country?
Since all sapient beings are treated equally in the Holy Roman Empire, Equus Sapiens or Ponies are treated like any other human. 35% of our population are sapient equines. Even some human royal families adopted ponies in their family and vice versa.

There are no such sentients in the United States of Oceania-Eurasia-Eastasia, but our historical archives curiously have mentions of talking animals in the past. One of our ancient religious texts features a talking snake.

Our scant pre-atomic war archives have turned up a former movie actor, a talking mule named Francis, and a television star, a palomino named Mr. Ed, actually recorded in interaction with Oceanians on the Western continent. These two were presumably slain in the great purges of the past, so that none remain. But, from these archives, it seems that these Equus Sapiens were captives, if not slaves.

Some of our youth indoctrination imagery utilizes cartoon caricatures of talking horses (as well as other animals) but even now if Equus Sapiens were encountered they would likely find these depictions to be imperialist and racist. The title of one of the more successful propaganda videos is "My Little Pony," which clearly indicates that the talking horse belongs to someone, i.e. it is chattel property.

With that in mind, O-E-E society would likely see no problem enslaving such beings. They're property, nothing more.

Horses are unknown on our homeworld (we ride giant flightless birds or giant tigers) so we did know what to make of them when we first saw them.

Their rights are defined in or declaration on the rights of sapient beings and they get treated the same as everyone else.

Like all Nichtmenschen conquered by the forces of the Reich, they are enslaved, forced to work in mines and factories. They are made to do hard laborious tasks such as pulling cars out of ditches and so on, due to their great strength compared to other Nichtmenschen. In addition, they are made a particular example of by the Nazis due to the fact that the Ponies' very culture is centered around love and tolerance. That is counter to the Nazis' ultimate goal to turn Herminia into a militaristic Spartan-like empire that spans the world where love and tolerance are stomped on and spat on by the general culture. Hence, why Equus Sapiens in particular are specially targeted by the Nazi regime.
