That's a HK33, the 5.56x45 variant of the normally 7.62x51 G3.
Still, great 7.62. Not as reliable or robust as the FAL, but a sight more accurate.

If I absolutely had to have a 9mm, it would probably be a Para-Ordinance M1911, or a SIG. I like the look of Ruger Pxx series pistols, but in my experience they stovepipe and jam regularly if not oiled religiously.
It's mildly cool-looking, but there are far sexier pistols IMO. Like a 10mm Auto, full-dust-jacket, slab-sided, underbarrel railed M1911 with Pachmyr American Legend grips, a parkerized frame and a nickle-plated slide.
I concur with the Sig, by far the best 9mm frame and design IMO. I'd have to muscle up the bravery to get near a 9mm 1911, so I'll let you know when that day comes what I think of it

G33, I believe. I personally find them a tad bulky and heavy for what they are. An AR-18 is a much better proposition.Black cats luck wrote:But in a couple of days I get guns again so probley a rocket launcher would be my nations main wepon of choice.

I'm rather fond of SIGs. I wish they'd make one in 10mm Auto though. In the meantime, one must make do with .40 S&W

I have a rifle, they arent bad, worth the $300 I payed for it.
Pistol? Shit.
Pistol.
BTW, I don't get all the hate on Hi-Point pistols. They are cheap and cheerful lead-flingers, not something you'd take to a target shooting match or trust your life on. Set your expectations low and be surprised.

AR-18 is lighter, less bulky and easier and cheaper to produce. Probably more reliable too, if only because :stampedsteeltolorences:. Looks classier too. The K2 looks like a humpback whale compared to an AR-18 or AR-15.
Well alrighty then... *is confused*

The K2 is a heck of a lot simpler. Far less small parts to lose, too: that washer that holds the takedown pin in place on the AR-180 becomes a frisbee if you just poke it off of there. Nothing of that sorts on the 'Woo. Meanwhile, my father's pre-ban K2 has seen several thousands rounds from shit-surplus to Hornady V-Max to Federal Tracers and has never had a single malfunction of any kind whatsoever, even while using AR mags from the mid-1980s. Besides, you can customize a 'Woo more than an AR-180. You can get a spring-tension-held scope rail for an AR-180. You can get a quad-rail and, if post-ban, any style of stock you wish on a Daewoo. That, and it also has a wonderful, adjustable gas block valve to survive in any conditions.

And it all boils down to the AR vs AK platform argument Will it never end?
