Very not, especially for a far-left nation. We're more the "factories and greasy mechanics with guns" kind of lefties, not the "longhairs hugging trees" kind.

Although there are no government regulations on corporations regarding pollution, incentives are given to them for taking green approaches such as tax breaks.

As it stands, the nation's power production is handled entirely by solar, nuclear, wind, and hydroelectric sources.

It would be rare to find a nation more environmentally friendly than Xoroa.

Xoroa doesn't have cars in the normal sense, but int he city has 'pods' structured similarly to cars, and they are not privately owned. There are pod depots in regular intervals around the city and they can be picked up and dropped off at a destination of choice. In a typical city, there are also many driverless buses that are powered by biodiesel and electricity. They follow magnets embedded in designated lanes, while a super central computer controls the routes they follow. highways are extremely fast and the pod-cars are sped up by hundreds of wind turbines to the sides of the roads. We also have a skytran with individual pods that go up to 200mph. Transportation is more efficient when thinking Green.

All houses and buildings are ecologically and environmentally responsible.

Esperantujo 2 is similar. Private motoring is banned. We rely on renewables, wind and solar power. However, we have a number of international airports, and a spaceport is nearing completion.

Although Lindenholt has banned all kinds of fossil fuel in the 90s private cars are still allowed, these cars work on electricity what is made from wind, sunlight or plutonium. Also plastics made from oil are not allowed either they are replaced by bio-plastics made from ethanol, but there is a new better, stronger and lighter material nano-fibers. These are a little more expensive than ethanol plastics but much better for the environment.

Merriwhether is a highly environmentally friendly nation. Although we do not go out of our way to conserve energy or land (except those protected as landmarks or in the interest of wildlife conservation), it is not a necessity that we do so because we have plenty enough renewable power to keep a nation satisfied two or three fold our size.

We also have technology capable of countering the negative effects of nations which are carbon contributors. Our genetic engineering program has already developed and implimented a type of tree designed to be useless for any purpose besides existing, is fairly well proofed to fire, consumes twice the CO2 and gives off twice the Oxygen. They are also engineered for looks: a healthy Ventededrum (name of the tree, Vent-a-dee-drum) is a very vibrant green, like gem-quality emerald.

Also nearly every car is electric. The only Gasoline or other fossil fuel cars probably belong to tourists or recent immigrants. fossil fuel-based cars are banned from sale by businesses. The only fossil fuel cars that are sold are sold amongst the people, and that is so incredibly few that you could probably count the number of such cars sold in such a way every year on one hand.

The Kings of Saintland have always tried to strike a balance between economic growth and environmental protection. Cars have never been popular in the Kingdom because we are a small remote island with good public transportation. There's not much need for cars. During the reign of King Petrus XV, we have switched entirely to renewable energy to power our nation. Schoolchildren are taught the importance of preserving God's Creation. Litterers and others that are purposely causing needless harm to the environment face arrest and are likely to get a few hours in the stocks for a first offense.

The Kangaroo Republic is a very environmentally conscious nation. It's a strong part of Macropodine culture to have respect for nature and not aggress against wildlife. The Kangaroo Republic has instated some ecological taxes, such as fuel taxes. Corporations that emit carbons are required to buy carbon credits, and are fined when their polution exceeds these credits. While environmental protection is important for cultural reasons, it also holds economic precedence. The Kangaroo Republic benefits heavily from tourism because of its diverse fauna and flora. 7% of the total land of the Kangaroo Republic is protected, and several waters are protected by the Marine Ecology Department of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Environment.

Laws still need to be balanced out against other economic factors. One of the most important reasons for the prosperity of the Kangaroo Republic is the mining industry. Ore extraction and metallurgy form the largest industry of the country. Mining companies are often subsidised in order to renumerate the costs of land restoration once the ground has become exhausted of the ores mined there.

YellowApple, Inc. is accidentally one of the more eco-friendly nations/corporations among the international community, since it produces a very minimal carbon footprint that's more than offset by YellowApple, Inc.'s use of atmospheric greenhouse gases to produce its various carbon-allotrope materials (nanotubes, carbon fiber, graphene, buckyballs, diamond, etc.). We say 'accidentally' because this wasn't exactly YellowApple, Inc.'s goal (the goal instead to be able to completely replace a mining infrastructure with carbon materials production, a goal which YellowApple, Inc. has succeeded with for most applications that previously called for metals, such as construction, aerospace design, and computational technologies).

So on that ground, no.

However we also have Eco-Worlds, which are worlds protected by an Imperial Legion regiment that house all the animals from Old Terra. There are many of these worlds, with living and environmental conditions similar to Earth. We use these to ensure the survival of all creatures of Terra, and in the event a newly-established colony needs to Terraform.

We have forge worlds, but since (i'm pretty sure) our tech is more advanced they don't pollute the area as much and create as much smog. Same with non-forge worlds, there's barely any pollution to speak of.

So you could say we're pretty eco-friendly.

Of course the big exception is Adydum, which is practically a gas giant it's so polluted. Which is to be expected since it's an abandoned forge world turned trash planet/slum world.

As a nation that believes heavily in science and reason, we believe that we as a collective people need to act now to do our bit to stop global warming.

This includes the banning of cars and other motor vehicles for civilian personal use, instead providing bicycles for each family to help promote not only fitness, but environmental sustainability.

Our nation also believes in using Solar and Wind energy over Coal in order to try and lower our nations overall emissions.

Finally for the few cars available for diplomatic purposes, we have opted for electric powered cars in order to try and stay true to our philosophy for even our more senior ambassadors.

Sadly, military is still a neglected area in terms of environmental protection. However we view our nation and people's safety as a greater priority then environmental regulation, and hope that at least through our other initiatives, we can lower our nations overall emissions for the most part.

Environment is weak and enemy of the State. Any animal not able to sustain heavy caliber weapons fire is of no use, and we embrace nuclear irradiated animal as strong and resilient product of man-made improvement to outdated animal design.
