Official Communication from the Palace of His Majesty King Louis XIX of Delvoir
139 Palais Royale, Ministry of International Affairs
Noble nations of the world,After careful consideration, in the name of His Most Christian Majesty King Louis XIX of Delvoir and Fravarre the Most High and Holy Kingdom of Delvoir has decided to open its borders to ambassadorial missions from the nations of the world. As a country that has spent considerable time in stringent modernising reforms, we would like to invite the nations of the world to send their ambassadors and open embassies on the Rue d'Avington, a specially designated avenue in the Delvoirian capital of Mallis-Royale. Mallis-Royale is a capital steeped in history and the cultural heartland of the Kingdom of Delvoir and Fravarre. Located in the northernmost and most urbanised départment of the Kingdom, we hope that ambassadors will found themselves comfortable there.Basic Information About Delvoir
- Delvoir is a monarchy. Executive power lies with His Majesty King Louis XIX of Delvoir and Fravarre. However, he delegates much of these responsibilities to the Lord-Judge on the legislative side of the Kingdom and the Premiere-Generale on the executive side of the government. They in turn delegate their responsibilities to ministers who do so to secretaries and etc.
- The population of Delvoir is 92,000,000. Most live in the urbanised north though a significant portion of the population living rurally in agricultural centres. Delvoir's main exports are silk, wine, champagne, jewels and uranium. We also export automobiles and cured meats. The silk industry is, however, the most prominent in Delvoir.
- The current Premiere-Generale is His Serene Highness the Duc d'Arjanté, the current Lord-Judge of the Kingdom is His Highness the Comte de Soncordet. The Duc has assistance from a cabinet of ten governmental ministers, including the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Vicomtesse de Bonté-Lorraine.Delvoir has an extremely low crime rate and the Rue d'Avington is located near the riverside in the northern area of the city known as La Promenade. It is full of rich baroque architecture, romantic boardwalks, museums of culture, art, history and science, and the Royal Delvoirian Academy of Education, the foremost further education centre in the Kingdom. You will be within walking distance of the Palais-Royale, where the Central Ministry Office is located and where the governments operate from, as well as just a short carriage ride from the Château de Lullimont, the official residence of the Royal Family and Delvoirian High Court. International delegates will be placed in a central location in the bustling business centre and government centre of the Kingdom in a position where you might observe the cultures and customs of Delvoir from a comfortable position. The establishment of embassies in the Kingdom, however, is subject to some restrictions.Below is found an application form for application to the embassy programme. Embassies may be located on Rue d'Avington, in a Hôtel at the Kingdom's discretion or a privately constructed property, at the Kingdom's approval.
