Recipient(s): The Nations of the World
Sender(s): The State Department of the Republic of New York
Concerning: Opening Embassies in New York City
To the nations of the world,
In the interest of continuing to expand New York's voice in the international community, I have been directed by the President of New York to officially open our nation's doors once more to international politics. New York City, our capital, has since its foundations been the center of culture in this region of the world, a place where people of all nations can come and live together as one people. In continuing with that spirit, and with just over a year passing since the Second Republic was established, this nation's doors are once again open to diplomacy. The nations of the world, regardless of national ideology or the status of the internal affairs in your nation are invited to therefore open an embassy in the capital city of our great nation. By opening an Embassy in New York City, your government has a direct line of communications to our President, and our Secretary of State, and it provides an opportunity for those in our nation to express interests in your nation's culture and economy.
Attached to this, you will find a form that you can fill out so that you can create an embassy on our territory. Unfortunately, due to the cost of real estate, the government will only be purchasing buildings as the need arises, which means that there will be no choice on placement for the Embassy. All Embassies will be located on the Island of Manhattan, and will therefore be subjected to the laws and regulations in New York County. All automatic weapons are outlawed, and semi-automatic weapons are to be heavily regulated, with all lethal weapons must be placed inside a safe when not in use, and be inspected by the New York Police Department on a monthly basis to ensure that all weapons are where they need to be. We request that all drugs, alcohol, pets, and plants that are brought into our country also be cataloged as well. We hope that by opening an Embassy in our nation, we are given an opportunity to expand our horizons and to make the people of this world one more step closer together.
Excelsior!
Briana Aviase
Secretary of State of New York
