Originally and predominantly based on what would happen if a whole lot of people with similar views in most areas to myself were to form a nation.

If catagorised it would loosely fall onto Left Wing; Modern Anglicanism, which can actually create the potential for quite a lot of diversity, proven by the fact that Pelestria (Major) has gradually become (almost simultaneously) more Roman Catholic, more Charismatically Protestant AND more Secular (and probably slightly more conservative), whilst still encouraging tolerance, love and compassion where possible (which is elaborated more in the Ethos part of my factbook

The push towards more militarisation in Pelestria comes from a possible threat that could have occurred in the Region of Campbell
The more Capitalistic elements come from trying to achieve balance after an imploded economy.

Which Means Oddly Enough, There has been more in-game inspiration then externally. (Which sort of suggests that I've been basically winging it!)
