Still WIP, but I'm inching forward.

You might want to make her flush deck and extend the the bow by 30-40 feet as at the moment in any sort of swell on the bows will ship water around and over the 155mm, a breakwater on the bow might alleviate the issues that come with a bow with no flare. Also have the flat surfaces on the rear hangar wall and under B position are really undesirable for low RCS, try a 30 degree slant.

Depends on the design of your gas-masks. Beards can prevent a good seal.
Which is why the US Navy doesn't allow more than a mustache unless you get severe skin irritation from shaving.

The only potential problem is how close the 28cm is to the pepper box. I doubt anyone will complain about overpressure not unintentionally rocket motors in an RP though.

Better? I didn't flush the deck since the raised stern catches my eye and (imo) looks unique. Not to mention, that'd be a difficult fix at this point. I know, looking cool is the bane of practicality, but I'll deal with that if I decide to whip her out in an RP.

Regardless of my stubbornness on that one aspect, I appreciate the advice. I'll be more careful on the next one.

The configuration on the AA is based largely on Kuznetsov, but the CIWS and SAM's have been consolidated into one system to save space.

EDIT: The Carrier is obviously the first priority, but I have a couple of things that are based on my own thought-up modifications (and have no picture as a result), so, if anyone would like these could be put there too.

-32 Sovremenny II-class (modernized Sovremenny-class)
Armament changes from Sovremenny:
>8 Moskit rplaced with 12 Brahmos missiles
>AA Armament replaced with Pantsir S-1 systems

AA Platforms
- 5 S-300 platform (built on Sovremenny hulls.
Armament: 8 S-300 missiles, 4 Pantsir S-1 systems
Note: Most of upper structure removed.

- 8 Nanuchka II AA Platform.
Note: much of upper structure and AShM's removed, replaced with AA armament.
Armament: 6 Pantsir S-1 systems.

The US Navy doesn't allow beards because CNO Watkins thought they looked dumb I guess. Zumwalt had no problems with it, and the USN allowed full beards (groomed) until 1984. Are you saying that the threat of gas attacks were less when facing the USSR and the largest stockpile of chemical weapons in the history of the world? Prior to 1986, the entire US military allowed beards so long as they were properly groomed, and the shift occurred in the mid-80s. A trimmed beard will have no difficulty with gas mask seals, even with antiquated masks of the Great War where French soldiers wore beards and had no issues. Nearly all modern NATO armies except the US military and a few others allow for beard growth, provided it is trimmed.

The S-300 is there, the naval version is called the SA-N-6. Look bottom left.

Overhead views of most ships are fairly rare in terms of lineart. The only ones that ever seem to get that attention are carriers, and usually just in a brief mock up to ensure everything fits and there isn't wasted space.

The S-300 is there, the naval version is called the SA-N-6. Look bottom left.

Ehh your loss. Anywho, the lineart for Ulyanovsk has a top view. If you wish you can just downgrade it by stripping the cats and adjust size as needed (IIRC Ulyanovsk is technically larger than Kuznetsov, but otherwise share roughly similar outlines)

SB doesn't focus on overheads really, some other carrier never build designs do have overheads.

Pepper boxes are considered largely obsolete. I think after the 90's other methods of deploying ASROC were implemented. Also that 28cm gun is damn ancient, I'd recommend just having the 57mm bofors on a small sponson as not to impede on deck space

Nowadays most torpedo rooms are automated. Previously, manually-handled torpedoes could take 5-10 minutes or more to reload, since man-handling a 3,500 pound torpedo in a cramped torpedo room isn't easy. But now it can be done by machine, and depending on the round to be loaded, I expect takes no more than a minute, IIRC. As a secondary advantage, machines can fit in tighter spaces than humans, so this allows for greater density of storage. But this was not common in early submarines because it still requires a lot of space; modern submarines carry roughly the same number of weapons as their predecessors in spite of their significant increases in displacement.
