We call you "Papa Nick" in our nation rather than Santa Claus. The tradition is mostly the same as normally, the main difference is that instead of leaving coals for bad children you leave a very angry crab underneath a bad child's bedsheets instead. The fear of being pinched in their sleep is often enough for most children (and some grown male adults with a very vivid imagination) to act good all year. Plus, like a sensible gift-giver, you walk in through the front door with a magical key rather than sliding down the chimney (which most people lack). Also, Papa Nick is believed to visit all children regardless of their religious beliefs making Christmas more of a gift-giving holiday rather than a religious one in Shibal Zumr.

The feast of St. Nicholas on the 6th is a national holiday. However, the Three Kings deliver the presents at christmas in our nation.

Christmas is celebrated abundantly in Quintium. Both in catholic tradition as St. Nicholas on the fifth, and in secular tradition, so Santa Claus is welcome.

Any incursion by this 'Santa 'in our airspace will be seen as a declaration of war and 'Santa 'will be shot down accordingly. After a recent poll, the Federation's future military and workforce do not believe in Santa, or Christmas or Christianity. You are banned from the Federation.

In the Empire, the tradition is that the three magi from the Bible who brought the baby Jesus gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh bring gifts to good Tyrannian children on the 5th January, a story shared by Hispanic countries. The "Santa Claus" tradition is regarded as a barbarian, pagan tradition and subsequently is suppressed by the Tyrannian Government, so as to reduce foreign influence on our great civilization. The only people in Old Tyrannia likely to expect Santa Claus, Father Christmas or any similar figure on Christmas Eve are a minority of immigrants from the United States, Great Britain and mainland Europe.

When I arrived home in a stupor, oh super, I thought
Father Christmas is a trooper, I'll leave him some port
Under the tree as a treat, that'll set him on his way
And a carrot for Rudolph, the helper on his sleigh!

I placed the offerings under the tree
With a note which read, "Santa, thanking ye
Do enjoy these small treats that I have given thee!"
But when I awoke the fat git had taken liberty!

Just one glass of sherry, I thought that was clear
And the carrot, that was food for your reindeer!
Oh, Santa, don't darken my chimney again!

An empty bottle, beneath the tree
And carrot besmirched by faecal debris
Oh Santa, don't darken my chimney again!

I come down on Christmas morning to a terrible sight,
I thought at first a burglar had come in the night!
A sherry bottle on the fire and sherry dripping from the ceiling,
and now the Christmas dinner seemed somewhat unappealing
since he did that with the carrot my confidence is murky
as to whether he didn't do something rather similar to the turkey

Next year, though, I shall find out the truth!
I shall await the cheeky blighter, with a shotgun on the roof!

Okay, that's more than enough from Mr. B...

In the SSC Beddgelert, both Father Christmas and Santa Claus (recognised in Beddgelert as distinct, even if most of their fans/advocates/admirers/believers have quite forgotten that) are regarded -if at all- as vectors for Christian-Capitalist imperial propaganda, and are occasionally used as educational tools illuminating the enemy's ignorant sense of entitlement, his hypocrisy, and his genocidal approach to different cultures. In short, with anything from casual indifference to outright falx-sharpening hostility.

Meanwhile, the Geletians of Beddgelert celebrated the solstice last week, and will probably celebrate Christmas as the day their hangovers finally abated, and nothing more than that.

Père Noël is a well-loved character in Astralsideria. Specifics will vary from family to family, but normally his robins (rouges-gorges) are said to keep an eye on children's behaviour and tell him who deserves presents, before his helper-elves (elfes-assistants) pack his sleigh (traîneau) for the children to find on Christmas morning (or on returning from Midnight Mass, depending on how early the parents want their children to get excited)
