Faikliren uses the NADPOLS (National Defense Level Protocol Standard) The system was adopted in 1935 as a mean of qualifying the risk of attack on the country. Some changes have been made after the increased use of the Internet.
Cyber Warfare Levels:

NP-1 Stable/Green - All information is secure from attack.
NP-2 Elevated/Yellow - Small attacks on infrastructure, agents are alert.
NP-3 Alert/Orange - Major attacks on infrastructure and/or information, agents are immediately deployed.
NP-4 Severe/Red - All network systems are shutdown to the public, only Military and Intelligence agencies are allowed access. Counter Intelligence Operatives are deployed all over the country.

Warfare Levels

MP-1 Code 100 Yellow - No aggression. Armed Forces conduct regular activities, risk is minimal.
MP-2 Code 250 Orange - Aggression encountered. Armed Forces are alert, Federal Air Force is patroling national skies, Federal Navy patrols the coast.
MP-3 Code 300 Red - Aggression escalates level. Armed Forces are deployed nationwide, entry and exit of the country is restricted, only Military and Intelligence agents are allowed to pass/exit. Public Infrastructure is on lockdown nationwide. Martial Law is enacted.
MP-4 Code 500 Black - Invasion or direct attack on Faiklirian soil, Armed Forces are engaging the aggressor. All public buildings are locked down and citizens retreat to the nearest NERS (National Emergency Refuge System). ICBMs/WMDs are ready to be launched.

It primarily considers external threats, and doesn't relate directly to whether the nation is in an armed conflict; things can be very tense yet still at peace, while conversely there can be involvement in a low-level conflict that's not thought to be a wider threat. General governmental uselessness (and my OOC laziness!) also means the threat level is often out of date.

Having been alerted to Timelines' use of the Henderson Scale, the UPT is considering something similar to cover various wibbly wobbly spacey wacey stuff that can happen.

The Lateral Treaty's never heard of anything like a DEFCON system, of course.

We have little information on our militia's conventions, but considering the current human versus robot skirmishes that has attracted attention by our law enforcent (robots created to improve integrity of the national police) and civilians (robots breach privacy), we are at code blue.

• Black: Defcon 0: Total annihilation: The Canterdome is detonated, with it the small star inside, effectively causing a mini-supernova. The planet could potentially be shattered by this.
