Thrirty years ago the Springbok Tour had just finished... I think, had something slightly different happened in the 70s and 80s NZ would be even better than it is now.

However, we've got to figure out a better way of looking at NZ. Stop with Maori/Not Maori rubbish, it isn't helping anyone... especially Maori (statement is now PC).

the policies and culture of my nation states nation have often been considered "utopian".
there is no nation, as far as i know, "irl", i would even consider entirely civilized, let alone "utopian".

(though nearly all nations, again "afak" have collective self images that are more fantasy then anything else. the only one i've ever lived in, the u.s., certainly does)

Cruciland was designed to be a concept-utopia, for other nations to mirror. There is an updated version of Cruciland, but is too overpowered to be used on NS. There are actual blueprints and philosophies for it, with detailed plans and inventions carefully made to make the utopia real. It was inspired by my mad pursuit of perfection, and the analytical comparison of different ideologies practiced throughout the world to achieve the ultimate leap in human society. Hopefully, if enough funding and subtlety is poured into the project, we will live in such a futuristic paradise one day...

Then there's the anarchy, chaos, crime, corruption, rampant lawlessness, societal collapse, complete breakdown of social order, complte lack of laws & order, barren, inhospitable landscape, weapons of mass destruction (WMDs) a population armed heavily enough to make all the worlds arms dealers blush, drugs, Jacob Zuma, John Mongrel, compleate lack of political correctness, explicitness, depravity, vices, bigotism, mutant freaks, insane lunatics, nihilism, agressiveness, rape, torture, sadism, Narcissism, hedonism, exploitation, selfishness, Sociopathic Soldiers, Child Soldiers, Social Darwinism, Redneck Hicks, dangerous wildlife, completely privatised & unregulated econmy, anarcho-capitalist free market, corrupt mega corporations a complete lack of public services, massive unequality, complete absence of public services & social wefare, aids, SUPER AIDS, instigatation of international conflicts constant ultra-violence, Violetists, Tribal Savages, and a constant & barbaric struggle for territory & survival between Mad Max style biker gangs, the remnants of the Zimbabwean Army, Bald Black Leader Guys, Anarchist Freedom Fighters, & the nations citizens.

So there you have it were not a Utopia. Were a Dystopia (and damn proud of it). So how about paying us a visit. Where a Free Land of Do-As-You-Please, with great food, magnificent, wildlife, beautiful scenery, cool & interesting people, a great history, lots a guns, drugs, free, unregulated culture media & markets, sexy, beautiful, loose women (or men if that's your preference) & the greatest perosn who ever lived Corbin Samuels (me).

Fatatatutti is a tropical paradise but not a utopia.

We have a very high crime rate. In fact, there is no real concept of property ownership at all, so anything that isn't bolted down is likely to be "borrowed" without warning. But that isn't considered a problem (by Fatatatutians, at least) because you can always "borrow" a replacement if you need it.

Our traffic is very slow, if you can even measure the speed when everybody is going in different directions at the same time. But that isn't considered a problem either (by Fatatatutians) because a traffic jam is always a good excuse for a tailgate party.

In short, Fatatatutti has its share of problems but the people take them in their stride instead of fretting over them.

For Decepticon robots: It's pretty close by the Decepticon definition, but not quite. In short, it runs by the law of the jungle, and that's exactly how we want it and designed it to be. But it does make buying and selling a bit of a PITA and dispute resolution is even worse - unless you are the fastest draw and have a very powerful blaster.

For any other people: It's a massive dystopia unless you somehow enjoy being our mine slave.
