If this is true, my pants have become a tent.
Izhmash has said they wish to import civilian models of the AK-12, AK-107, and a SAIGA-9 in 9mm come 2013. Couple that with K-Var/FIME offering the SGL 12-94 (SAIGA-12 with AK-100 series folder), and I'm a very excited individual. This is basically the primary reason I wish nothing changes: I want to throw all of my Washingtons, Lincolns, Jacksons, Grants, and Benjamins at Russia. Specifically, Izmhash through FIME.

Go buy an AR-15.

No, just something similar. I didn't want it, I was saying he should adopt one similar.
So, how long have you been collecting? I'm 2 years in, and I just want more every day.
Here and there as I see something I like.
The Yugoslavian M48 was a gift in, I believe, 2007 or 2008? The M1 Carbine was around that time, as well. The GP WASR-10/63 was purchased in November of 2008 since I had been looking for a better semi-automatic rifle than my M1, and saw Atlantic's shooter combo. for $500.00: rifle, two mags, bayonet, sling, oiler, and a hard case. After that, I believe my 1911 was an early 2010 item, and the P.38 came the following November and receive the Mossberg 500A as a gift that December. I think I was more or less purchased out until mid-2011 or so? I think I got the Makarov and Daewoo sometime in late 2011, and I think I must have gotten the TP25 (PPK clone) around that time, as well? I don't really remember 2011 all that well as I was fairly busy that year. The SGL 21-94 and the Hungarian M44 were purchased on the same day in February of 2012, I purchased the Russian M44 about two or three weeks after that, the SKS was a feelsbadman.jpg purchase after I missed a PSL (with all accessories) for $700 at a gun show, and I was more or less done until I decided to start going to university. After that, I purchased my girlfriend's SGL 21-62, the Kar98k, two M91/30s, and will be going through them for my Super VEPR if they are able to find any. If the AWB does not pass, I might also look into collecting current-use models of Russian AKs. I figured 40+ AKM variants was kind of... well, a waste after some thought, but having an AK-103, AK-104, AK-74M, AK-105 (maybe), SAIGA-12, and whatever else Russia/FIME/Arsenal decides to throw our way would be pretty neat. Only time will tell.

Arkansas. If you can find any ammo, prices are ridiculous. I talked myself out of a FAL because 308 was $1/round.
I may go the gunbroker route. Never used it before.

For buyers, yes. Sellers and manufacturing? No.
Sellers would also be screwed. Think about it. You just sold several months' worth in a week, everyone is back-ordered by months, and you still have to somehow pay utilities, electricity, etc.
Your profit is barely there because even your dealers have upped their price to meet demand.
Unless you are already a well-established business or are making plenty of money on the side, you are done. Manufacturers deal to those throwing the most money at them first. Everyone else gets what's left. If you're late to the party, you get nothing. If you do get ssomething's omething, it's no longer the dealer price you had planned your business' income around.
Shit be crazy.
Also, I will probably never get an AR-15.
