However, it's been done by modifying an Enfield directly, as can be seen by the magwell adapter.

A coffin.

Actually I was thinking of assigning them to a flying aircraft carrier. They can than act as both the landing unit and the combat air wing all in one. First they shoot down all the enemy migs, than they blow up the ground defenses and finally they land their elite air marines armed with tactical try barrel M4 submachine guns.

Why not use the carriers from the Avengers or the blimp fuckers from Turning Point: Fall of Liberty?

So will it be 7.62x39mm into the modern era, or will there be something similar in intent to the 5.45mm?

Not sure just yet. I used 5.45 and 7.62, like both. I guess I could make both KC standard rounds.

Triggthiuda probably won't end up using KC rifle rounds, in that case.

The aerogavins were light, lighter than usual. For this time they only brought half the fuel. They would not need the rest for where they were going, and what they intended to do. As the mighty airship flew, ripping through the clouds at hypersonic speeds something on its surface started to move. First it seemed like but a flicker of light or paint chipping off. Be it in chips the size of small apartment blocks. But as the seconds ticked by it became clear that something far more serious was going on. One after another a million doors swung open. Each revealing the ships insides to the world outside. And than all went still.

After a moment of silence the movement resumed, this time with much more severity. The airship, now wide open still rushed through the air. And from its bowels like a swarm of bees without number emerging from a hive burst forth a tidal way of aircraft. And what aircraft they were. Boxes with wings painted black like the darkest of nights or the pimped out jeep of a rich rapper, or someone pretending to be one. Each bristled with guns, both above and bellow. Rocket pods, cannons and on the tip of each wing a missile as long as a decent sized man. All of these painted gold as if to convey a profound feeling of bling. They emerged silently like the morning mist. Their engines shut off to protect their tacticool stealth. For a moment it seemed as if they all would just fall out of the sky. But than it all changed.

As the last of the gavins made their way out of the hangars another thing emerged. This time from the rear cargo hold. The object was large and black, pitch black. It had no wings or control surfaces and no engines. And it entered free fall as soon as it emerged. It fell for quite a while in silence. And than it happened. For a moment time seemed to stop. As if the heavenly order had all paused to take breath. Than the sky was filled with a flash of light brighter than a thousand suns. And as the flash slowly veined and the mushroom cloud formed they emerged once more. These fortresses in flight, each as armed and armored as tank brigade. Gliding on the shock wave, surfing the atomic blast.

The age of the Aerogavin had come.
